Analytical? He's just a game tuber, the initial appeal was probably covering millennial nostalgia games without spending most of the video talking about buying hardware on ebay like the alternatives at the time. This guy sucks, I don't understand why he blew up. Pseudo-analytical bullshit of level design.
I've known at least one person IRL that's made sworn enemies out of others over video game opinions. In his adult years, nevertheless. Some people just lose their shit over even the tiniest disagreements.I never understood the mindset so manygamersturbo autists have who dismiss someone based off a few disagreements. I know plenty who live and die by the "He disagreed with me on this particular games quality, therefore he sucks and fuck you if you listen to him" Good example of this is his Serious Sam video. Yeah, Civvie says some stupid shit here and there (esp if they're political), but there are plenty of other things I can either agree or find of interest of. And you can't deny that he and others gave a bunch of niche or forgotten gems well deserved notoriety like Blood and the original Shadow Warrior.
Was it followed by them changing genders soon after?I've known at least one person IRL that's made sworn enemies out of others over video game opinions. In his adult years, nevertheless. Some people just lose their shit over even the tiniest disagreements.
Not that I know of, but last I've heard he's still just as spergy as everWas it followed by them changing genders soon after?
But he also says based shit in a mouse voice, then just goes "oh you".Yeah, Civvie says some stupid shit here and there (esp if they're political)
I recall one of his "wardens" was into loli\shota but don't remember which.Civvie since you are reading this, if you have a private Discord server just nuke it now and don't look back. Otherwise it's only a matter of time till you are tied to some moderator doing nasty shit. Also stop going soft on indie titles.
Yeah he was there. Probably still is. However, I feel like he's under other name here, now.Dudes like Sseth definitely read KF, I believe that's actually been confirmed and the man has the soul of a farmer through and through,
I wonder how those people have actual interactions with other human beings on a day to day basis. In any job, from customer support, to factory work, to a sales position you'll have disagreements with people on a whole plethora of subjects. Do people like that just have an endless list of "enemies" then? Seems like a lot of energy and time wasted one could channel into more productive and wholesome ventures.I've known at least one person IRL that's made sworn enemies out of others over video game opinions. In his adult years, nevertheless. Some people just lose their shit over even the tiniest disagreements.
Call me uncultured but I can't tell the difference. I didn't get the reference that Civvie was yelling about, making him look like a Boomer again. So, in light of the new civvie vid, I gotta ask you fellas an important question:
Bowie or Iggy mix?
I've only ever heard the Bowie mix of Raw Power. Just got through doing a listen of the key tracks with the iggy mix and I despise it. Takes the power right out of Raw Power and replaces it with a muddy, drug down lethargy. The bowie mix is a strike of pure punk rock lightning, full of energy and treble snarl.
It's better than the previous one by virtue of not having as much forgettable titles that are treated as more than ripoffs. It would still be interesting Civvie said if the game is actually unique or just pretty pixel art and particle effects.
What eludes me is that Iggy sounded like a kid and then Lust for Life happened.Call me uncultured but I can't tell the difference. I didn't get the reference that Civvie was yelling about, making him look like a Boomer again.
>1973's "Raw Power" by Iggy And The Stooges is considered one of the most influential albums in the punk rock genre. The album was first mixed by David Bowie after a failed mixing attempt by Iggy Pop himself, and the Bowie mixes were the only ones available until Iggy Pop remixed the album in 1997 for CD release.

Quite a few games I didn't know about that are now added to my wishlist to follow. Good video by civvie.
The best mixes are the alternates and remasters. For instance, here's a different version of Gimmie Danger released after a remix later that doesn't sound like doo-doo. Overall though? The Iggy mix. It's boxy as hell but it makes the album one hell of a powerful wall. Different strokes, though. So, in light of the new civvie vid, I gotta ask you fellas an important question:

The gimme danger mix is actually really nice. I like how the acoustic track sits lower in the mix and the percussion is a bit louder. Gimme Danger is such a kino song that all of the mixes sound good for that one to me. Search & Destroy really benefits from boosted treble though imo. But yeah diff strokes for sureThe best mixes are the alternates and remasters. For instance, here's a different version of Gimmie Danger released after a remix later that doesn't sound like doo-doo. I don't have mixed feelings, it sounds like shit. If someone didn't tell me what it was I'd assume it was made by a band of not especially talented amateurs who you can tell are never going to go anywhere in music, like maybe they'll have one of the songs people tend to skip over in the soundtrack to a Tony Hawk Pro Skateboarder game on gamecube.I have mixed feelings on Iggy's mix of Raw Power. I get that he was going for, that this is supposed to be a violent hardpunksorry PROTO-PUNK album. And it's true Bowie mix of Raw Power feels weak because Bowie puts Iggy's vocal way over the instrumentals. But Iggy's mix of Search and Destroy comes off flat to me. I detest the victims of the "Loudness War", and Raw Power 1997 is infamously one of the most well known examples.
One of the best (in my view) things that happened because the Music Industry stopped trying to fight Youtube was the rise of just random youtubers making their own mix of songs and uploading it. I didn't even know of this upload until the last 10 minutes and yeah I think this amounts to best of both worlds. It's got Iggy's clear intention in mind but the guitars aren't washed out by fucking static.
