Seems like it. Perhaps the reason is because his videos are all of the same and, despite the quality, the content itself is just don't change at all, nor his way to deliver stuff. It was funny first few years, now looking at this it just makes me yawing and feeling annoyed.
And if I have still been in his server I'd left some time ago already because of this and his crowd is... well I already told that numerous times so no need to repeat my ranting self here.

He is, yeah. Good on him for featuring a game he actually likes, even if it's not a very good game. I know Manhattan Project has its fans, and maybe it's just a limitation of the engine, but the levels felt way too sparse for me, specially on the first half.

I had a similar thought myself, but I'm also kind of tempering the thought with "Well, at least he doesn't go off on several minute-long tangents entirely devoted to bitching about and deboonking viewer criticisms like, say, YMS does." Yet.

I think that sort of thing is better delegated to a quick wink and a nod in cases where he can directly address and show it up (like with the Wozma), or, failing that, just not really wasting any video runtime on those complaints whatsoever. It makes for some low points in an otherwise decent video, where half the fact that it's decent at all comes from the fact that Civvie clearly enjoyed playing through a game for once.
 
The algorithm recently turned me on to him, and I definitely like the production quality of the videos. Format's good and they're eminently watchable, as even the less-enthusiastic ones still have such a level of craft slapped on them that they make for fine background noise. I've passively binged a good deal of his content as a result of that, largely for games I've never played and probably never will.

It does feel like there are certain factory-line motions that he just kindof goes through, but that's probably a limitation of depending on churning out regular content for (I assume) the bulk of your income. I don't really think there's a way to avoid it in that circumstance, especially if you get pegged to having a niche and wind up wading through functionally the same game stretched out over so many functionally identical skeletons.

It does feel like he should take a break and stretch his wings on more that directly catches his interest, but then I've got no clue on how fickle patreon paypiggies can be.

He'll just use Cancer Mouse to invalidate any criticism.
 
It was pretty boring, either "this was good" or "this wasn't as good" 99% of the time, which is a regularproblem when reviewing a game without anything really interesting going for it. It's very much what you see is what you get.
I kinda wish he'd go after some of the newer indie shooter games and tear them a new asshole rather than be overly nice.

That would require taking some steam (and piss) out of the "boomer shooter renaissance" and potentially discouraging those highly treasured "creators", and we couldn't possibly foster that kind of merit-based environment for those brave up-and-comers. Gotta reserve the real scathing criticisms for the companies that already made it, or the ones that have long since gone defunct.

That, and I'm sure he'd bring more than half of his own following down on him for daring to be so controversial in the first place. The boomer shooter following's just as much of a hugbox as any other online community at this point.

Not to mention the fact that he don't want to get cancelled by dickchoppers or anybody even slightly "progressive", except "muh ehvil reichpublicans" (sigh...). I know, it's a niche thing and all but look at doomworld, zdoom and other "boomer shooter" places. Either those are inhabited with "stunning and brabe progressive" retards or just spergs for anyone's taste. He panders toward this public because, let's be honest, either normal retro games fans\enjoyers have left this autistic thunderdome or keep being silent and watching their favorite hobbies be poisoned with woke shit.

I'd object there but... meh, there is not that much of good options, unfortunately. Build haven't got the same treatment id tech 1 have got.
And so they have what they have.
 
This was an okayish episode but yeah, the pissy commentary about someone asking for this episode feels hypocritical given he admits to having tried to make it repeatedly but just gave up.

The censor on the Tranny poster was laughable given all the content he has on his channel which glorifies so much crass bullshit from the time period. Fine with hyper violence, casual racism, whores, and Postal grade edginess but if someone makes fun of a crossdresser that's going TOO FAR!
