By your logic, that is also the same legit reason to dislike say Christianity with all the kid fucking that goes down there. An just like with transexuals, the moment you say that shit be ready to hear "REEEE!!! MUH POOR CHWISTIANS ARE OPPRESSED!!!!" ironic, aint it?
You could have had a valid argument, however it's the Catholics who are known for that not the Christians. Try again next time.

Just a joke schizo-post, I'm very happy that he's played shit like Chasm, You Are Empty, now Chaser and probably something else so people in this thread get to see them.

Next up among the old games: Chrome and after new years... Boiling Point.
My brother and I was hyped for boiling point.
Then we played it. We never finished it.

I ran into so many problems that it would be surprising if the release version can be finished. It is a truly fascinating game and sort of related to the hype of the endlessly delayed STALKER. Proto-STALKER could be seen in Codename Outbreak, anyone else play that? They're not in anyway the same game but it was GSC dipping into the large world game in a way.

What I remember about Boiling Point, is the fact it tried to be what Far Cry 2 wanted to be, but couldn't cut it.

It was also years before FC2 and made on a fraction of Ubi's budget. It is pure, uncut, slav jank. Everyone should give it a try.
At the time it was thought of as a "GTA" in the same way Strife was called a Doom-clone. There were no easier terms to quickly communicate what could be expected from the game.

Now we have better and more modern words that can describe a game like this so I'll say it's the Escape from Tarkov of Far Cry games...

RTCW is a damn fine game. I'd totally play a remaster. Keep the gameplay and map geometry the same, just up the polygons and add more furniture and map doodads so the indoor areas don't look so empty. There, done.

I liked the stealth forest level. But I also like ghosting in stealth games so I guess I'm weirdo.
Yeah, that stage didn't bother me at all. Maybe it's because I went through the covert path and found the sniper rifle. I failed the mission a couple times, then breezed through it. The Ubersoldat boss fight was way more trouble because the damn thing had near no windup on the tesla gun attack.

I do remember struggling with the Ubersoldat myself. Mostly because he insta injures you once the cutscene is done. Also, man I wish Wolf 2009 was on steam, like only way you can get it now is via torrents or looking up official disks in Ebay

Heh, I just started playing the Real RTCW mod, and now I see Civvie did a video on the game.

I gotta say that I do find myself really enjoying the game, even if some parts of it are dated. That said, I still think the best in the series is The New Order.

RTCW is awesome.
The game is so tight and the music is awesome. I remember I was blown away when I was reading about it in PC gamer.
