Yeah but it sucked lol and the game in general is pretty unplayable I'm stuck on the first day because the animals keep glitching for the animal capture mission.

Outlaws review was good, feels a bit barebones with level and enemy description, but it seems the game itself doesn't do a whole lot of interesting things due to the setting and game engine.
 
I played the shit out of the shareware/demo level that came with one of the God-tier LucasArt Archives back in the day. My issue was that the game was just kinda... ugly. The enemy models looked like shit out of Redneck Rampage and had retarded AI. The levels were neat and the art-style was cool though.

Yeah, even at the time it looked like refried ass. Good game and I played the demo so much as well, but in the same year(1997) LucasArts released Jedi Knight, there was Interstate '76, Quake 2 came out etc.

I read on 4chan that early in his utub "career" he did an ama on reddit and that's where all the info comes from (he went to film school, he's married, he's using a wheelchair (it might be temporary or something) etc). I was skeptical about it but then this happened.

My favorite line from that slapfight was the explanation as to why black people would be in Medival Bohemia.

They went with the most nog-like theory despite there not being an Alphabet group to dismantle the nuclear family back then.

There was similar racism accusations towards an exhibit of classical portraits of Scottish lords and dukes from the 1500's or whatever it was. Argue how much you like about the presence(or lack of) black people in Scotland during that time but for fucks sake you can't argue that wypipo is refusing to show all the portraits of all the Kangz that was part of the ruling upper class.

Good question. Why ARE people butthurt because he took a few seconds to say "man, that's not aged well" in a Duke Nukem review?
 
I wasn't even talking about politics, but comedy - since civvie11 (as well as the rest of the e-celebs) think that they're all comedians, with their funny quips every 10 seconds. Not everything is about "muh politisperg".

It's almost like he doesn't understand what Duke is all about, it was crass even for its day, that was always part of its charm. So he should spare us the moral grandstanding.

Wait did they announce a new Duke game or is this all (deserved) excitement over the leak?

It would be cool if someone finished it. At this stage I think beyond someone actually making a good AAA Duke game (unlikely) the best thing they could do is either pull an Ion Maiden and make an entirely new game in build with all the tricks they have access to now or in another newer but still "retro" engine. For all its faults, Ion Maiden shows that you can make a true modern boomer shooter with enough time and love.
