It’s the Oma recipe. A dough made with butter, sour cream, flour, and egg yolks with a filling of egg whites, sugar, walnuts, rum, and vanilla. They take two days as the dough needs to rest, and rolling them all takes some time, but they are always cleaned out anytime I take them to a potluck or whatever.
I’ve been making these since I was a child, I’ve got it down to a science.
