I have to say that I didn't give this one much hope in terms of m.ilk, but she keeps a -flowing. She's gotten 11 pages in 2 days. That's an impressive ROI. Maybe she does deserve her own dedicated thread. I don't know if she's interesting enough cow-wise though. If she keeps down this ridiculous Lupus vein and keeps writing in pseudo-Victorian English and keeps engaging then we may have a winner.
That’s not entertainment though, it’s just her masturbating to the sound of her own words and saying essentially the same thing over and over. She’s no different than the other thousands of women who insist they were “born in the wrong century” and want to be victorian slyphs in flowy gowns.

And god knows we have way more than enough of those people. She’s just your garden-variety faux Victorian woman who thinks reading makes her more intelligent than others because, like others with a weak theory of mind, she believes no one nowadays reads Dickens and Poe and Shelley, etc. even though most have.

I’ll come back if she ever gets interesting, but there’s a thousand women just like her on tumblr.

Christine if you are interested in the sexy romantic Regency Era, read the Diaries of Anne Lister. Very sexy, lots of talk about her teeth falling out, her skin erupting in boils from bizarre medical treatments, and her vagina rotting from a venereal disease her lesbian lover gave her. Oh and she dropped dead in her young 40s from something a round of antibiotics would cure

Oh god, this brings me back to women’s history in uni. Fun times.
But anyway, there has recently been a drama called gentleman jack on in the UK about her if anyone is interested

edit: apparently America got it too

Every wide eyed lass who enters my office with a romantic view of the 19th century is given a packet of choice quotes from Miss Fred, including talking about scraping gross shit off of her teeth with a knife and the ceaseless green discharge from her no-no parts. Also recipes for how to hide from your houseguest that the food you’re serving them was riddled with maggots and mold.

Christines ideal life.
Of course to be a real Victorian housewife you’d need your copy of mrs beeton’s guide book to know how to pickle and jelly everything and oh, can’t forget putting boracic acid in 🥛 to stop it smelling like it’s soured. Recreated a couple of recipes from that for banter once. Lovely.

Once, I had to read The Lady's Dressing Room and I honestly nearly retched. I had never been so revolted by literature. I felt so bad for anyone in there who might have romanticized the Baroque or Rococo eras.

Then die at 28 from syphilis.

You should read some Cormac. Maybe Blood Meridian. The Judge might shake your thoughts up about things. In fact he posts here as well as @Judge Holden

This malingering malcontent should marry this freak instead - they'd be a match made in 'tism-observing heaven.

I hope they find out you have some kind of easily addressed medical condition, OP. You'd be put in the pickle of admitting you really just want to pretend you're 6 forever by refusing treatment, vs getting the treatment and having to actually nut up and grow a pair of ovaries.

Oh gods-- my husband would not be happy to see me swooning over this angelic creature.

Excuse me, I need to go and fetch my smelling salts. And my brandy. And my massager.

ETA: He's married as well. Of course he is. Any lass with a brain would snatch that up in half a heartbeat.

Wait a second... did I fucking read this shit right? They didn’t have sex for SIX YEARS in marriage? And now that they’re having sex, she thinks she’s dying?! If this isn’t some Freudian comedy. I’m literally about to piss myself from laughing too hard.

Honey, I would fantasize being dead or dying soon, too if I was married to a short-statured bald thing with disgusting facial hair who insisted I maintain a childlike dependedent status in which I dreamed of getting high with the most idiotic munchie in the world, Jan Jan. Seriously, you dream of being friends with HER? She can’t even form a complete sentence in modern “text speak”, much less comprehend your flowery pretentiousness. Lolz, but I would pay to see this interaction.

No, really, the point in which your social interactions have waned and your boredom has hitten the rock-bottom level of asking a bunch of literal trolls for literary advice, you should probably consider your life, your MmJ usage, and your marriage.
