Let's be perfectly honest here, you wouldn't last a day in the Victorian Era. Those women were hardier than you seem to think. You're thinking of some aristocratic waif who gently wastes away into the ether. Girl, sis, that ain't it. There was nothing romantic about the conditions at that time unless you were born of privilege. Hell, I'd even give you the Edwardian era for more romanticism. You could cosplay being a suffragette or at the tail end of it you could cosplay being a worried/grieving wife of a solider in WWI.
There was so much amazing literature and music written in that era. I do understand being drawn to a certain period in the past, but you need to have a well rounded view of it. It's not all gossamer and fainting sofas. If you truly feel drawn to it then learn about it properly. Don't cosplay your entire life. That's just sad.
