I'm a bit late to this party, but here's my personal take on this.

Given her present financial situation, I imagine that lately Barb has started to eye Chris' PS4, PS3, game collection and legos like a hungry lion eyeing a wounded animal.

Do you remember how irrational she got the last time the hoard was threatened? She freaked out so bad she threatened to kick Chris out. Now I'm not sure if he actually tried to throw something away, or just SUGGESTED that they should, but still. Chris seems genuinely afraid of Barb. I can't help but think back to the video of Chris and Barb eating. Do you remember the way he scrambled to turn the camera off when she asked what he was doing?

My personal theory is that Barb has actually threatened to start pawning Christine's things to get money. I wouldn't put it past her to just waddle into the Man/Woman-baby's room and start unplugging the PS4 then demand that Chris(tine) help her haul this shit to the pawn shop, which Chris will only be able to bawl and put up weak resistance.
 
I don't understand, does he want his hot lesbian "employee" to be his girlfriend/fuckbuddy and also hook him up with hot lesbians too? Even the most desperate lesbian on the planet wouldn't begin to consider this.

This is a first but I'm questioning if he thinks this idea is even legitimate, he has to be trolling with this one.

Yeah, I sometimes like to give Chris the benefit of the doubt, but I say this with total confidence: He's not bright enough to be ironic. And being ironic takes no real mental effort. But even if he was, he wouldn't dare take his magnum opus, Sonichu, lightly. Because of, as previously mentioned, his massive ego

Chris isn't trolling, but the troll who wrote that script for him to read and convinced him it's a good idea is.
 
With the whole 25% I think he means each individual profit of each employee.
If one hot lesbian makes and sells 20 amiibos, it's like she was payed with 5 and Chis gets all the moneys from the 15 sold, while if the other makes no sales, she gets no dime.
Great business model.

Also, I don't think he wants to spare a dime or provide his employees with amiibos to butcher in the first place. Most likely he's got a warped perception of profit, which his abominations give none to begin with. And if you don't sell any, but buy unmodded and make them, you're in red, and your employer will just shit himself and do nothing.

So not only you're working your ass off for an autistic manchild, you're giving him your money while adding to the "business" yourself and have to trib with him.

I can see the applications just flooding his e-mail address.
 
This reminds me of the movie "Step brothers". A man child trying to start a business like "Prestige Worldwide" and expecting to be taken seriously. All he needs is a music video called "Boats and Lesbos".

Chris's Craiglist/Kijiji "Help Wanted" ad should specify "artists" and, instead of money, promise "exposure".

At least that way Chris's ad wouldn't really be any worse than most other Craigslist/Kijiji "Help Wanted" ads for artists.
 
He can barely make his own comic without stalling for months, and now he thinks he can direct a team of artists to illustrate and animate?! Anyone want to bet if this "Art director" saga gets going, he'll fall behind in his duties, argue over the most minor idiotix things ("Hmm Rosechu's breasts need to be at least one letter higher, not just for Sonichu, not just for the fans, but for her OWN satisfaction!"), he'll miss payment deadlines and just mishandle the money in general, he'll demand they need to work faster as well as try to get them to work for as cheaply as possible, he'll play favorites and value his female staff more than his male staff, constantly hit on female workers.
I'd love it to end with them telling lardass his lazy attitude and lack of respect for his staff are poison to Sonichu and the work environment, kick him off the project and continue the series as their own project while giving Chris as little credit as possible and spread the word just how horrible of a director Chris is.

It's not about Chris being dumb, it's autism. He can't grasp most forms of non-literal thought, so irony is an alien concept to him.
That's why he doesn't get the concept of a meme besides knowing that a lot of people will share and repeat them.

months? The Sonichu comic hasn't been updated in YEARS. Sonichu 11 isn't even completed. A few pages were added in 2015, not even an episode's worth. (And they aren't even colored)

Two Avengers movies and several other multimillion dollar superhero movies have come out since Sonichu 11 started. Stephen King has written EIGHT NOVELS since Sonichu 11 started.

That kind of laziness deserves to go down in history with the likes of Greek Myths

Paying your employees for piece work doesn't exempt you from minimum wage laws. In fact, you have to keep two sets of books on your business. One for the hours the employees worked, then another for how much they produce. You have to reconcile them to prove that you're still complying with minimum wage regulations. It's a giant pain in the ass, and even experienced business people have problems with it at times. Tax withholding is a nightmare too.

Piecework rules would apply if he was paying her per unit. An alternative model would be to give her a share in the "company". In that case minimum wage laws don't apply. One potentially legal way to do it would be for him to form seperate business partnerships with each employee. Or for each employee to be an independent contractor and be subcontracted or liscenced by Chris' business.

But as you say, that is all academic., since he hasn't thought this through. My guess is that he pulled the 25% figure out of his ass and didn't give it much thought. He was looking for a number that didn't sound trivial, but left him with a big share of the money. So he came up with that figure. I don't think the question "what if you get multiple employees each taking 25%?" has crossed his mind. Which is why I said that if faced with the problem, he would probably give them 25% to share.

It is amazing how little Chris can think things through. He has financial struggles when he gets 100% of the profits plus a tugboat. How does he think someone will do on 25% of the profits? The answer is that it hasn't crossed his mind.

On the surface, this idea makes all of his fantasies come true. He has a flock of lesbians devoted to Sonichu doing his bidding, generating money for him, legitimizing Sonichu, giving him casual sex, and finding him a sweetheart. Basically he just framed his ultimate fantasy as a "business proposal". He has not delved beneath the surface to think about the details at all. Anything that clashes with this fantasy is an unpleasant thought that should be avoided.

The sheer ridiculousness of his proposal may also be a reflection of his almost complete lack of work experience. He has almost no experience being part of a workforce, so he can fill in the blanks how ever he wants.

Guess what we also call that? Being dumb. Insults aside, it's a legitimate description.

It's not like autism DOESN'T make you dumb. Arguing that would be the same as Chris's interpretation of "high functioning autism."
