I thought the point of the tranny still having the climbing dreams was, literally, that the villain didn't like trannies?

Like, not ATLUS, specifically the bad guy. He, himself, thought transwomen were just lying.

Of course, the problem is that nowadays most "trans" folk ARE lying, so what should have been another strike against the villain just comes off as said bad guy deciding it's better to be safe than sorry.
 
I dunno, they could just always just, you know, play the game for the gameplay instead of the characters like some of us do.

But here's the funny thing, if they never did that, you would've never known Erica was trans. Because she, unlike many who are complaining, completed her transition. And what's wrong with a trans person coming to terms with their past and being comfortable with it? I don't get it. No wait, I do. It's because they want to live in a constant state of victimhood and fear.
But yeah, if it was never revealed then they'd complain about a lack of representation. It's a lose-lose.

OT: You'd think they'd be happy that in One Piece they've got an island paradise full of impossibly tough badasses ruled by a queen whose powers are literaly hormone related (instant gender switching is possible without surgery) but no, that's problematic.

The main """villain""" punished males who were "bad seeds". Vincent was a cheater and didn't want to commit to his relationship with Katherine, keeping her from having children; Erica became a troon and started dating the young guy from the group (forgot his name) thus keeping him from dating a proper woman and making babies; and so on.

Who doesn't? I'm not talking about what pop culture dictates, rather actual culture. Like usual faggotry, Japan has what would be considered a "progressive" history concerning troons before Westernization. Fastforward to the present, and they haven't cucked in many aspect as backwards the West. Until about two years ago, it was considered mainstream to find troons weird in the United States, but the slippery slope with fucking Bruce Jenner really made shit hit the fan.

So... the first game reveals that Erica was born a male, and that is a horrific fact and people who did not know this fact before do not deserve to know it at all because it's 'deadnaming' a fictional character.
