I have an obvious question though, how do we know that the voting was legit? Because with the amount of police there they probably had to make an "hit and run" voting. Which means the results might not reflect reality. The "Tupinada", as they would call it. And if that happened, then the results are null.

This is why everything about the situation is retarded. You could get the referendum legally the next time a left-wing party got the power. And get everything done, legally. Now they won't get shit and they'll probably receive a lot of sanctions because of this shitshow. Fucking pro-independence leaders that don't even think about the consequences to the people they supposedly represent, I swear.

I think they're more concerned about how they got video of police with Fasces on their logo beating up grandmas than the legality of it all. Good PR for them so that they say that the Spanish Government is like Franco's.

90% of a 42.7% turnout voted for independence. Catalonian authorities are taking this as a win and are apparently drawing up legislation to enact this.

Now the fun begins!
