Definitely normal behavior...
Whyyyyy?! Whyyy can’t these projects attract funding!? All they want are strangers to shower them with cash and ask no questions. Is this so wrong people?

Editing to say, I think this chump hit the nail on the head when he pointed out that these clowns don’t give a hoot about their actual story. All that matters to them are their embarrassing self-insert OCs enjoying the fantasy world romances they themselves will never have. Ouch!

I took a quick peek at the Kickstarter and the crazy bitch is asking for 90K to even get something done despite having actual test animation that shows it's boring and lazy. And that's simply because the digital art is absolutely flat and atorcious.

This looks bad, too, but in all honesty, it hilariously enough looks better this way simply because you don't get to see the awful color palette at all. The simplicity of it in simple shades of gray makes it look like it could make for a fun read despite the shitty feet and hands. You could even imagine none of the characters are POCs. Win-win.

Also I'm fucking sick of these people just literally copying everything from Sailor Moon, the transformations especially.

Do something original with it. Showcase the feet in motion ffs since the entire point of this is it's about ROLLERSKATING. SHOW MORE LEG, YOU FUCKS.

(Oh wait, the characters are underage, so you can't without accusations. LOL.)

No wonder this person is screeching for more attention, she's never gotten it without looking like a freak.

awwww, this poor desperate fat cow.... If she wasn´t that desperate, I laugh at her, but now I just pity her, this people is fucked in the head for real, they think they are gonna notice them only for existing and be "UWU LGBT inclusive Afro-feminists" and...I mean,in some cases they are right, but they also need some contacts in the industry and at least a little, microscopic pinch of creativity and patience, stuff that at least this poor delusional bitch lacks

Why are theses people so obssed with the magical girl genre?
It's the only female self-fullfilment power fantasy that's not Barbie and they're that shallow. It's not about making friends for life and becoming your own independent individual to them, it's about looking cute and pretty while kicking ass and making hot women men fall in love with them. They think casting spells and wearing cute magical dresses like princesses will make them special.

And I'm saying this as a magical girl fan. Many women my age don't take actual moral lessons from the monster-of-the-week episodes where the girls learn actual life lessons because Sailor Moon Says was that tacked on. It almost undermines the legitimate character growth in the show because it's easier to make fun of the "life lesson" that being fat is bad and being materialistic isn't happiness.

"Queer magical girl show"

The identity stuff is just feels more like an excuse to be unoriginal. A "queer black show" has to look like it stereotypically. So the art style rips off Craig of the Creek and Steven Universe and a few other things blatantly. I guess that's what she's probably worked on before but it doesn't have it's own artistic identity apart from that modern Cartoon Network look.

An exceptionally small and niche audience and this probably has little general appeal outside the kinds of people that salivate over this kind of stuff. Sure there are industry people open to appealing to them but only if they can attach it to an existing brand that is recognizable.

I fucking hate Story Corps long before I hated NPR. It's the most maudlin shit they can dredge up, packaged as wholesome slice of life Americana. I'm just here for Kai Ryssdal. Anyway, I haven't listened to NPR in years, but I bristled the first time I heard this one and then again when they replayed it a year later along with the black college student who brought his baby daughter to class and is now dead of cancer.

Anyway, being that I avoid NPR these days, I was surprised to hear it again at A THING I had to participate in for work. Short of it: Autistic son can't express himself normally and uses what he's seen in Disney cartoons to make make his feelings known. It's all warm and positive but you know the reality of that family is depressing. However, if you can get past the corniness, there's some insight to be had on the autistic mind and why you see so much bizarre shit on Deviantart with the most random intellectual properties. I'm listening to this thing and NPR thinks it's heart warming. Meanwhile I'm thinking about Chris Chan, that "completely delitilized" weirdo, the Reshiram guy, and Bronies.

So she's definitely taken some artistic "Influence" from that show...
