I just had a thought - How it used to be, there were intellectual properties that had broad appeal. The handful of live journal Tumblr girls would get creative and reimagine these stories and characters in their own vision, or expand upon non-existent themes or themes that were only briefly touched on by the original. I don't have a problem with this other than most of the time these fan works were self indulgent, boring, or completely retarded.

So the early Tumblrinas grew up and are now creating their own original work where they start hiking the mountain at their summit, like starting porn with the money shot. Rather than the intrigue of wondering, debating, and reimagining the sexuality and identities of established characters, they put it all out on the table explicitly. It must bore even them. To normies is must be completely inaccessible.

Also, sometimes the reason why things have broad appeal is because it's done well and includes themes that are actually INCLUSIVE of most people. The queer movement is too focused on queering and so the interest just isn't going to be there. Plus, you can't queer anything if the normal stable base isn't there to begin with. They don't know how to create that. They've relied on others so that they can corrupt their work while often looking down their nose at those who enjoy the original wholesome property.
 
Occasionally, I like to read comments relating to smiling friends making fun of nihilism episode. Still amaze how much butt hurt nihilists and Reddit users are in the comments.
 
The animation industry is upset with WB about one thing, but the furry community turning David Zaslav into an orange man or Hitler-like figure. Zak the Wolf, a furry youtuber, who called for Antifa-style political violence against David Zaslav long before he canceled the new Wile E Coyote movie. David Zaslav wants to bring back traditional gender roles for marketing. Now he is becoming unhinged. Along with being a furry. Zak the Wolf is obsessed with Inspector Gadget. Especially with Penny Gadget.

Zaslav gets a lot of flack. But honestly, I want to at least give the guy the benefit of the doubt, especially since we're at the point now where most of the stuff that got greenlit before he took over had already come out, and we have yet to see the stuff he greenlit yet. I don't want this to be another Bob Chapek situation where he becomes a boogieman in the eyes of certain people and then gets ousted way too early due to wrongthink.

If I ever have kids, I will prepare special playlists with cartoons made before the new '10s for them. That is the line I draw for what they can see without getting fucking pozzed.

Apparently according to the linked Google docs file, this person in her mid-20s drank some acidic cleaning fluid and had destroyed her stomach and surroundings, just because of a cartoon. There are censored Discord screenshots in the document. No actual proof.

I call it fake and gay.

If there's actual proof of this, this belongs in the shipping thread. Steven Universe had an almost-suicide over fan-art, and there's unconfirmed rumors My Hero Academia ship bullying led to a suicide. Tumblrinas are cancer, but it also goes to show the younger generation are thin-skinned and shouldn't be online.

IIRC that SU one turned out to be a false flag as the victim DID attempt suicide, but it was unrelated to any harassment she got from SUfags. Not that I'm giving them a pass, mind you. That fandom has done other stupid shit in its time and deserves its lumps.
