Sorry I accidentally took retard pills this morning.

My only vehicle right now is my convertible since I'm between houses. Fun points: 10 Style points: 8 Practicality: 2 especially when taking bags of garbage to the dump

Don't be a poor. there's no such thing as a convertible. Roofs and poor people.

Joking! But so long story short I broke the tab on my triumph and drunken threw the roof in my yard then into trash, cars top less.

My good friend who's doing the insane LS nitro build mx5 has a very dry sense of humor, he got his caddy V serviced and was sitting sipping coffee. Asked dealer "do you have a V area I don't like being around poor non V owners" well dealer was like... I'll run to star bux or dunking for you.. he was like no I just don't want to be near these people... and the lady who had a non V saw this and laughed.

My daily is a hard top. I just love fresh air and driving.

I have a hard top for this thing too but it take like 20 minutes to put it on myself. But what's the point unless it's below 40 degrees?

I promise I will be less poor in the future

I have an 07 R56 Cooper Sport, and I love it. The thing is an absolute laser. It WILL outcorner any miata on the planet with the right work done, and is probably the closest stock contender to it, although I haven't yet driven the Fiat 500 Nuevo series (2012+), or the Fiat Spyder. Those are probably the only other two cars in that size bracket that could do the job.

The only thing I hate about my Mini, is working on it. The french can't make an engine worth a shit, and virtually everything you need to get to is behind 8 hours of labor in removal of body panels, interior panels, and other non-essentials. If you're gonna take one apart, you'd better replace a lot of shit, because you don't want to go in there again. The BMW of the car shows the most when you need to take a wrench to it.

Can confirm that post-bailout GM trucks feel like Ford trucks did from the 90s, up to the bailout era. They all have that very squishy engagement feel you get from 10th gen F-150s before third gear goes out like it always does.

It's a high-roof coupe. You will fit in it. You will even fit in the back seat if it's an R56 or later. You can fit in an R53 if you're a double-amputee, but your head won't touch the ceiling. This is all assuming that you're at least not so tall that you couldn't fit in a Ford Taurus.

I traded my Land Cruiser to a friend for his GX 460 and 22k. I loved my LC but it was making my garage way too tight, the fuel cost was getting indefensible with the wife and honestly its just so damn comfy to drive. I also am just telling myself all I did was make 22k by getting a Prado with leather seats

When the fuck are car prices going to come down? Do we really have to wait another 5-10 years for more new semiconductor plants to start operating?

1999, just for a generation. There was a version that did 100km on less than 3 litres of diesel, giving 78 burger mpg (94 mpg elsewheres).

My professional econ fear is never. The thing is, what electronics we need for ECUs etc is nonsense weak. I can live tune current gen GM v8s from my fucking cell phone (and my Honda but thats a obd1 wired car).

What really is shocking no one thought hard wire an Ipad to do everything from dial your AC temp to your fuel mapping.

Plus it would be something simple like iOS vs retarded car systems. Ford tried and flopped with SYNC because windows phone was trash and Windows 8 is/was cancer.

With all the gas drama, taxes and laws.. but people are asking comical prices. I think once economy settles the crashing and inflation slows (while not regressing) things will settle a bit. There's just so much going on that puts cars on the chopping block for the avg person.

Deals are still out there as a hold over while my friend's GF (who bought before they dated) mitsu SUV is busted copped a sunfire (aka classy cavilier) for less than 2k gonna fix the shitsu and sell for near MSRP probably.
