It would be hysterical if Alberta ends up replacing Canada in the G7. It would more then happily play the role that Canada did in geopolitics before they went on an America hating bender and inadvertently disputed the entire point of its existence in international geopolitics.

French-Canadian history and culture don't start with Quebec nor do they end with Quebec.

In Northeastern and Northern Ontario, 15-23% of people are francophones. There's about 650 thousand francophones in Ontario, going by the provincial government's definition (anyone who speaks French as the main language at home).

The Maritimes, historically called Acadia by the initial French colonists, is also a bastion of French culture. The majority of francophones in this area of Canada are the direct descendents of some of the first Europeans to reach Canada. In New Brunswick, about 30% of the population uses French as their primary language. In PEI, the majority of francophones live on the western shore of the island, and about 13% of Islanders can converse in French.

Prior to mass immigration from Eastern Europe in the early 20th century, the majority of the population of Manitoba were francophones, hence the ethnogenesis of the French-speaking Metis people. When the province was initially established, the right to use both French and English was enshrined through legislation. Some French-Canadians in Manitoba lost their language following the results of the Manitoba School Question, but many didn't.

Like the francophones of Manitoba, those in the NWT are mostly descended from fur traders active in that region in the past. French is one of the 11 official languages of the NWT, alongside many indigenous languages. 17% of people in Yellowknife, the territorial capital, are conversational in French.

I can go on for each province or territory, but you could always do some reading yourself if you're interested. I suggest that you read some history books.

If you actually understood the history of the country, and its provinces and territories, you'd understand that saying "oh, Canada is bilingual because of one province" is silly and simplistic. It's not about "pandering," it's about recognizing the importance of history and the precedents that it sets. French-speaking Canadians are just as much Canadians as English-speaking ones, and in fact: they've been here much longer than English-speaking Canadians.

Just six years after B.C. spent $56.5 million transforming a Vancouver hotel into a low-barrier homeless shelter, it has been revealed as an unsalvageable biohazard.

Luugat is the name given to a former Howard Johnson in Vancouver that in 2020 was repurposed into a 110-room full-service homeless shelter.

Pets and even on-site drug use was welcome. In fact, there was a vending machine onsite dispensing free needles, crack pipes and other drug paraphernalia.

Last week, Global News obtained video showing one of the Luugat’s rooms stripped of furniture and piled with an estimated four feet of garbage, all of it soaked by an overflowing toilet. The video was shot by Allan Goodall, the owner of a nightclub on the building’s first floor who has regularly faced ceiling collapses from the rooms upstairs.

I recently walked based a (((united church))) on a sunday during its supposed service, and I was pleased to see it completely empty. The catholic chruch I was going to on the other had was always at worse 3/4 full.
 
In other news, today, the libtard MP scarborough nate erskine, lost his by-election nomination to a bangladeshi migrant. After running his riding into the ground for almost 11 years by mass importing browns as per liberal policy, the demographics of his fief became untenable, as the bangladeshi community reached critial mass and rallied behind their ethnic candidate, casting down the stupid white guy who was retarded enough to let them fester. It is a beautiful thing to see the advocates of canadian replacement get raped by the very browns they advocated for, and is if anything, a sign of things to come.
