Probably the best scapegoat would be Alberta leaving (followed by BC, Saskatchewan, and even Manitoba once they start being expected to pick up the slack.If whatever tea leaves economists read are saying that that bitch is due to blow, that’s a grenade I sincerely doubt any major Federal party wanted to be caught holding, solely because housing prices collapsing is one of the very few things that’ll actually anger the Canadian Boomer. And unlike the last two times I can easily remember , there isn’t an easily acceptable scapegoat (‘08 the American Housing Crash and it’s knock on effects letting people blame our southern neighbours, ‘20 had Corona-Chan), not for lack of trying with MP’s trying to blame the war in Iran for house prices being so high
I went to one of the speeches to figure out what the vibe was, 90% of the people there were already canvassers so I think I went to the wrong one. I don't quite know if they'll hit their target, I'm guessing that they already got the votes but it seems that most of the people who plan to sign already have
