Yeah, people tend to bring up BC as a stopgap against separation, but never ask how terrible it would be for BC itself. It would be locked away from the mainland and would only get worse if other provinces like Saskatchewan leave too. It has the sea, but no way from that sea to the east other than the arctic. It would be immensely difficult for BC to remain with Canada without some compromises with an independent Alberta.

The kicker is that I've seen Canadians who say that all the jeets, shitskins, chinks, etc will make us BETTER at sports. 3 Problems with this claim.
1. Those types of immigrants are more into other sports like cricket that aren't as popular in Canada.
2. Hockey is more of a middle class sport, and Cucknada is trying to destroy the middle class
3. Even if lets say jeets are into hockey, all the ones that are skilled enough to play it will go to Amerikkka or even Europe rather than even think about going to Canada.

Depends which part of BC you're talking about. The province almost exactly mirrors Oregon and Washington in terms of region disparity: you've got a Pacific coast hell-bent on the worst of all possible uber liberal-progressive bullshit, an interior with a significant conservative bent in retaliation, and a population balance ensuring the coast holds a monopoly over political discourse. The Cariboo, Thompson-Okanagan and Columbia-Kootenays are basically Alberta with forests; the provincial government might refuse outright any annexation into the US, but good luck having that stick without violence when half the province wants Vancouver and Victoria nuked twice and salted three times over for good effect.
