Online spaces play a major role in how young people connect, learn, and express themselves. When these spaces are designed with safety, inclusion, and respect in mind, they can help reduce harm and promote positive mental health.
With support from Women and Gender Equality Canada, Next Gen Men created a
moderated Discord server through which young people can connect, share what’s going on in their lives, and feel supported. These efforts focus on:
- Encouraging respectful online interactions
- Preventing harassment and harmful behaviors
- Fostering inclusive digital communities
- Supporting youth mental and emotional well-being
Safe online spaces don’t happen by accident: they’re built through intentional design, education, and community care.
