The Browns are willing to work for less because they come from impoverished countries. I'm really not impressed by it whatsoever, it's literally exploitation of the poor.
Oh my goodness look at Mr. Brown he works so so hard because "back home" half of his country doesn't have toilets, there are sprawling slums, and the pollution is so awful you can quite literally die from it.

Maybe we should have 2 hour lunch breaks and 30 day vacations and work starts at 10 AM and ends at 5 pm, instead of having the "immigrant work ethic" so that the company president can buy his third house while Canadians and immigrants alike are expected to work like dogs because apparently our vast oil and mineral reserves and industrialized economy cannot afford us the dignity to live with some peace of mind.
I think that is what ultimately pisses me off, we have quite literally an industrialized economy, we need not work like dogs, the infrastructure, technology, and know-how we have should do most of the heavy lifting because that's is the reason why they were made in the first place, but instead we keep deferring to "immigrant work ethic."

trust me, I DO. Way back in the late 70s/early 80s I read some books that belonged to my grandparents. Books like Change Agents in the Schools by Barbara M. Morris, and NEA: Trojan Horse in American Education (they lived in the states). And several other books like "Why Johnny Can't Learn". One book mentioned how in the 1920s socialist educator John Dewey plotted to dumb down education, so that children would be easier to indoctrinate into socialism. I saw it happening in the 1980s in Canada right before my eyes, and several years after I'd initially read Change Agents in the Schools, which mentioned "lifeboat scenarios" and "values clarification", one of the classes in my middle school tried pulling this shit, only it was a nuclear fallout bunker/shelter instead of a lifeboat and I fully refused to participate. My peers were too stupid to understand my objections. It wasn't a class that MATTERED ("Health Class" or something like it, I forget the exact name of it) at least.
Day of the Rake will probably come first; a lot of these stupid Lib voting boomers would rather skip out using MAID than suffer dementia or stage 4 cancer or whatever.
