US is better to retire in if you're rich (networth 10m+) since you can move to a gated community to enjoy Americas wealth and freedom while ignoring their problems with civil unrest/crime/unsavory people like the packs of feral niggers. Canada is better if you're wealthy (500k-5m). Canada is easier to immigrate to as well.

Right now the US seems extremely volatile, so that's probably skewing the numbers.
