I cringe whenever someone calls Canada a “melting pot” because everyone sticks to their own, the Chinese hate the Indians, the Portugese hate the Italians, everyone hates each other in reality and only sticks to their own.
 
I checked out one if those signing booths for the remain in Canada petition. Like I thought it was a folding white table with some hand made signs, two people working the booth. When I drove past it was one woman talking to them, and when I drove home two old people were walking to it. Otherwise it seems pretty dead, I imagine the leave Canada petition will be packed and reach its goal within a month, it sounds like this one will barely make the requirement in time, if it succeeds at all

Not like anything will change anyways. If you are young and struggling to find a partner, don't feel bad too bad about it because they probably wouldn't want kids anyway. My exes were fine people but none of them wanted kids. I wouldn't be shocked if this is the same for a majority of young people nowadays. They are correct that it is more difficult, but not only is it more difficult, the difficulty is being used to justify and discourage anyone from even trying.

"Countries fucked up enough as it is, I have no way out and no real prospects, why the fuck would I want to bring a kid into that?" is a line of thought I've not only had, but have heard almost verbatim from other people.

It's almost like making your people miserable means the don't want to subject future generations to the same shit. And considering the kind of people who pump out 4+ kids because of Child Tax benefits, I weep for future generations, they're fucked from the word go.
