Tranny flag during a picket for no reason https://www.timescolonist.com/local...-liquor-stores-to-pressure-for-talks-11262196

So apparently interm parliamentary budget officer is saying we are going bankrupted in a year and Carney is jetting off to meeting after meeting to avoid scrutiny in the parliament.
Not bankrupt, but a ~70-100 billion deficit is quite likely (which is where the PBO warnings are coming from). And the best part is the Libs are going to try and sell it as austerity :story:

So are the western provinces gonna actually do something or just cry for ten more years and try to bluff the rest into listening to them? Keep seeing stuff about it but since I have zero clue about Canadian politics unsure if it’s just clickbait

Cry. Especially when controlled opposition Pierre now has an Alberta seat and will do everything in his non-power to sabotage any separatist movement. Everything in Canada is effeminate, gay, fake and then gay again.

It sounds like they are delaying the vote to hear the petition or something until next year, but I haven't heard anything about that other petition to block seceding so i think that fizzled out which is promising.
they have a LOT of places where you can sign in person, a lot seem to be personal residences which I think needs investigating
they haven't released any numbers but it sounds like best case scenario it will be a close one, assuming they aren't being overly optimistic.

Realistic answer is that it's going to take something massive to sway enough people to go along with it. Right now, I think the number is roughly 30% of Albertans want to leave, which is a nice amount more is needed. If the economy completely collapses, which it could very well do in the next few years, then that number spikes enough to cause people to want to leave. Of course, that's if the elitist overlords allow such a thing to brew, which they could very well stamp out (though that is getting harder and harder to do with each passing year).

They won't do anything, all your seeing is the politicians hitting the release steam button. The poor plebs will stand up at the hearings and complain and bitch about how they can't afford to live and how the Jeets are fucking everywhere then go home and act like good little sheep until the Jeet population is high enough that they can safely be ignored. The politicians will ignore everything said and stick to the plan while mouthing whatever it will take to keep the plebs in line until it is too late.

Nothing will happen, Canada will become India 2.0 and you will be replaced.

Ideally the Jeets fuck off, but that is unlikely.
I mean, Canada is becoming more and more like the third world. The jeets that aren't completely desperate will flee and loot the USA or Europe instead.

Also, thinking about it, Canada has only had a proper federal conservative party for around 20 years now. The old federal Progressive Conservatives were unironically a Russia tier controlled opposition party (besides maybe a couple of outliers). I mean, if the PCs were still around, either Trudeau would still be in power or carney would've gotten 300 seats this year.

Also I'm genuinely so fucking glad that the Oilers lost against the panthers. Cucknadian liberal nationalism doesn't deserve even the smallest of victories. (Also as a Calgary resident I could never cope with Oilers chuds being the ones to break our losing streak).

Because Canada has no redistribution of wealth and no social mobility (anymore). Wealth is hoarded at the top by a small elite. Income schemes like LMIA keep the economy going with dirty cheap labour from India and 7 unrelated people living in a one bedroom apartment. There is no incentive to "improve" conditions.

What I mean about no redistribution of wealth and no incentive to improve conditions is that the government has no interest in using tax money to fund say more "job training" for it's own citizens. It's just not going to happen.

Grants and student loans have become comically low for Canadians who want to attend post secondary or retrain. Most Canadians will be paying by credit card or getting a bank loan because there is near zero help from the government. This is a contrast to most states who fund retraining programs. I was shocked to learn that many community colleges in the U.S have free education for adults above age 25.

I mean, he does have dementia. I know I'd want someone to ice me if it ever came to that. There's a decent chance he discussed this with his family early on. I think it's incredibly sad and tragic but on paper this is what MAID was designed for. It should always be scrutinized when it's instead someone who has a treatable mental illness or is simply impoverished.

Last time my father and I discussed this he's very much of the mind If something happens and I'm a vegetable, pull the plug, if I ever can't tell who my loved ones are put me in a home, and on the no visitors list.

Still an utterly dystopian headline though.

'Retraining' is very middle class. The middle class is not wanted in Canada, seemingly and most of all by middle class Canadians who by the numbers support eliminating the middle class.

UI/EI/pogey in Ontario had programs to cover some or all of post-secondary retraining for certain fields. Better to try to turn people into employable taxpayers and put bodies in mid/low enrollment academic programs than just wait for them to build their hours up again for their next claim. That kind of thinking is long gone.

In principle sure. Unfortunately his support for MAID will be seized upon by the kevorkian ghouls who want to start executing teenagers without their parents having any say because they wrote on a government form that they are sad they will never be able to own a home.

Yo

regarding that recent "targeted shooting" in Richmond Hill on Thursday (Sept. 25th)

A comment on this video was interesting.

"Organized Crime, his house on 46 Puccini Drive was owned by Carlo De Maria, who is part of the Siderno Calabrian Mafia. The house went into receivership and the murder victim acquired it. Rumors abound that the victim was renting the house from De Maria but he failed to pay rent to De Maria who probably needed the rent to pay down the mortgage on the house which is valued at close to 4 million. So, the mob lost millions. Wonder if they will now go after his beneficiary who probably will have to sell the house and may also get life insurance payments. So my friends, the moral of this killing is to send a message once again , do not screw over the Mafia, they will always get retribution & more times then not , you will pay for your life."

Found some supporting receivership documentation, from April 2nd 2025... outlining a process that began back in 2015... a year after Carlo Demaria had his income clipped.

EDIT:
digging deeper, the dead guy (Issam Saad) is potentially mentioned in 2018, in another document... alleging that the Saad family [elderly parents & son] were indeed living at 46 Puccini Drive since May of 2018.
