Carney isn't as outwardly embarrassing as Justin, however I think that Carney could turn out to be worse considering he knows exactly which levers to flip for maximum third world pillaging

From the outside looking in, he’s worse. But it’s also timing. Trudeau got first term Trump who was surrounded by snakes and then COVID hit so Trump wasn’t able to do 90% of what he wanted and his own people were constantly sabotaging him. Then Biden so, that speaks for itself.

Carney is dealing with Trump 2.0. Who knows exactly what he wants, what he would’ve done if he wasn’t hamstrung at every turn his first term, and has a rock solid inner circle that is purging every liberal traitor as quickly as possible. He’s out for blood.

Carney should’ve sat it out. He’s either completely incompetent or a foreign agent. Neither of which can deal with current world happenings.

I asked a few American friends on Discord if they would ever want a banker and former CEO of a wealth management fund as President if Trump wasn't a factor. Their response? "Oh, hell no." And they are all as blue a Democrat you can get. Canadians are such midwits that they worship credentials without applying any critical thinking and are easily swayed by big promises, empty platitudes, and dumb slogans.

As for Carney, the Liberal Party, and NDP being economic flat-earthers, they might as well be that in the scientific sense. What does Carney know about engineering, chemistry, or any physical science? Jack shit. He will only listen to "experts" that validate his own conclusions. I have doubts that he is a competent economist because he would have tabled a budget by now and proposed a few nation-building projects by now if there were truly a crisis. The freaking Germans were able to build an LNG import terminal in the time he was PM. What do we get done? An Office of Major Projects? Oh great, we'll probably get shovels in the ground by 2050 if we're lucky. Canada needs decisive action right now and the only thing he offers is more theatre, and quite poor theatre at that. At least you could laugh at Trudeau's incompetence.

I have no doubts that he is not a competent economist. I said this from day 1. Look at Canada when he was in charge of the economy. Look at the UK.

I hate to get all #Occupy, but look at how these two economies have and do function. Places like the city of london rake in billions for hedgefunds, venture capitalists, startups, etc- while the rest of the nation starves economically, dies, and falls into disarray.

That is not the kind of economist I want. I want to protect mom and pop shops. Hes the kind of capitalist who hollows out economies for short term gains and then hi-fives his rich liberal friends about how great of a job he's doing making them rich. Fuck him, and God help us that he's in charge

Ah, but the tariffs are now being questioned legally and Elon is no longer in the inner circle! Plus China's ag tariffs are actually causing disruption to our producers and they will likely pull them if we let them sell their rolling bugman cookers here. Carney should have put his ELBOWS UP and pivoted trade away from the US instead of pulling his PANTS DOWN and taking it up the ass.
