What did they do? Issue diazepam when penicillin was prescribed?a local (Leaf) pharmacy had to fire at least one Jeet for seriously fucking up a prescription. Now they've got more white people working in there.
What if I knock up an American.I'm stopping by to let everyone know that if you're considering the TN visa route to the US (or really any other specialized visa specifically for Canadians), then you should maybe act on it sooner than later. Jeets getting shitcanned from PERM here are openly discussing doing PR in Canada as their backup plan with the idea of eventually being able to parlay that into getting back into the US once they have a Canadian passport.
All visa categories are coming under scrutiny in the current political discourse and I wouldn't be surprised if the next iteration of NAFTA heavily restricts it for reasons of national security due to how many unvetted foreigners Canada has allowed to attain PR.
There will never be a race-based immigration carveout for white Canadians due to civil rights law, so don't hold your breath. We're eventually going to have to close the gates on Canada entirely or also let in the jeets.
IDK if this is "worse" but it was Clonidine instead of Colchicine. Fortunately it was caught right away by the pharmacy manager before the patient even got it.What did they do? Issue diazepam when penicillin was prescribed?
I can imagine just seeing there isn't a huge Mexican or Hispanic population in general vs the Alaska and the other 48 states.Agree in principle, but there are exceptions to every rule.
I've definitely picked up Great Value brand food products in the States at Wally World, only to return home to look up if the Canadian subsidiary carried the same product.
Sometimes not only is there not a knockoff brand domestically north of 49, but often the entire product category isn't available at all.
If you can go to the states, go to the states, it's basically a no brainer. Yeah the US has it's own problems, but it's virtually better in every single way than Canada is currently. I'm just a NEET retard who also has a criminal record from a domestic dispute involving my ex shithead neighbor trespassing on my property so I can't go anywhere, but if the US invited me on down tomorrow I wouldn't even have to think about it, I'd jump in with both feet. We'd sell our west coast house to Blackrock and never think about Canada ever again. It’s so hard to see what’s happening everywhere. Husband and I are trying to figure out what to do and I feel like we are paralyzed with indecision. We do have options but it’s hard to know what to do.
Sorry about the TLDR, but the innawoods locals here can’t fathom moving to the states, I can’t really talk about it to my local friends, and my family’s ruptured since Covid.
Husband has American citizenship via his Mayflower Vietnam vet dad, who went to a Canadian college on the GI bill and fell in love with a Canadian girl and they raised their kids here. Husband’s never lived in the US, and we don’t have many connections there.
I have family and aging parents here, we’ve lived on the same patch of dirt since the late 1800s. He and I both have cozy WFH jobs, it’s like being semiretired. We live in a tiny town and the bad changes haven’t come here yet and the community is very close, but it wouldn’t take much to overwhelm the area if we ever caught the eye of Sauron.
We have liquid assets and the farm is mostly paid off. Everything is how I like it. But what kind of country is my kid growing up in, and what kind of opportunities will he have?
My husband is getting that itchy feeling that we need to go, but we really have no idea where or what we would do. We are both in IT but too old to get new IT jobs. Husband also has a chronic disease that I assume would make health care A Problem.
We need to make a decision. Next year we are planning to build an addition for my mom to retire into, once that happens we will be pretty committed.
The local small town lawyer moved her family to Texas, and my neighbours literally can’t understand why. It’s weird that they can’t see how close the problems are, even if they aren’t here yet.
This. The time to actually get out will be now- though I wouldn't worry too, too much.I'm stopping by to let everyone know that if you're considering the TN visa route to the US (or really any other specialized visa specifically for Canadians), then you should maybe act on it sooner than later. The one major truth in 2025 is that the social shaming tools of the 20th century such as racism, fascism, bigotry, etc are rapidly losing all efficacy. By 2027 they will mean less than nothing. People will be proud to just say they're racist as fuck against streetshitting diaperheads or any pressure group. Many are already there. The Left is very cognizant of this but they keep using it because they have nothing else. This COULD be big. Anything that makes Canadian left sweat is a good sign. This negative promotion might be a blessing in disguise, as they could be unwittingly drawing attention of this event to the "wrong people" and bringing more attendees as a result. The rally itself doesn't seem like much from first glance, but all of the left ironically seem to be making a bigger deal out of it than it is, and that could really work to its advantage. Really, it all depends on how many actually show up in the end. I'm also quite curious if the supposed counter-protests will go anywhere. Either way, if something as seemingly mild as this is scaring them, then something here is being done right. Fingers crossed. We should remember that while the trucker protesters were completely abused by the government as a consequence, their work still lead to an end of the COVID madness. If the event is successful, same should apply here, consequences be damned. Let's try and be hopeful for once.
Stay in Canada is your best bet especially since you have community ties and it’s a bonus that you are still on the farmland of your ancestors. Just hopefully nothing happens with your WFH jobs in IT as executives will likely try to outsource that to India (or Inshore Jeets to do that job)It’s so hard to see what’s happening everywhere. Husband and I are trying to figure out what to do and I feel like we are paralyzed with indecision. We do have options but it’s hard to know what to do.

Once I realized that most people that engaged in left-wing and right-wing online spaces were either plain grifters or under-developed adults with untreated oppositional defiance disorder, things made a lot more sense. The fact that the event organizers purposely choose symbology that evokes 1930s racists is distasteful, dumb, and needlessly provocative. It's literally asking for trouble, and the time to be an edgelord ended in 2016.
Liberals like to pretend that all indigenous people are one monotonous entity that agrees with every Liberal talking point.Funny thing is, most Natives I know want to send all the Jeets back home.
Even if you don't move to the USA, it would be very wise for your husband to maintain his citizenship so your kid can have two passports rather than one. Having more passports means having more options, and that's always a good thing. You and your husband should consider speaking with an immigration lawyer to determine what you and your kid's route to American citizenship would look like. It’s so hard to see what’s happening everywhere. Husband and I are trying to figure out what to do and I feel like we are paralyzed with indecision. We do have options but it’s hard to know what to do.
Also consider the measures that the federal government will take to discourage emigration once the tipping point is reached and they realize just how many young people are leaving. I've often wondered if the Century Initiative retards considered the effect that emigration will play on their plan. The longer things go on, the more that other Canadians are going to want to get out, which makes things more difficult for you.
The brits have been voting for it since Tony Blair and even they're snapping. And if it doesn't: Canadians voted for it 4 times in a row. Its the will of the people to go down in flames.
These home invasions are getting people to notice as well. The one major truth in 2025 is that the social shaming tools of the 20th century such as racism, fascism, bigotry, etc are rapidly losing all efficacy. Poilievre wants to get rid of LIMA the same way that Trudeau wanted to get rid of FPTP. Politicians will say anything to get elected because they know that nobody will hold them accountable.Oh wow Poilievre actually wants to get rid of the LIMA garbage. Too bad he didn't run on this during the election.
Sounds like Carney doesn't want to get rid of the program, which isn't surprising since he was a banker.
Although, even if the Cons did axe it, I am sure they would leave plenty of exemptions for healthcare workers and tech. But at least the person at Tim Hortons would maybe know English.
I actually think you're onto something here.I think this is part of why the NDP cratered so badly. The native vote abandoned them over this.
With Poilievre's recent statements im starting to wonder if he just enjoys being opposition leaderOh wow Poilievre actually wants to get rid of the LIMA garbage. Too bad he didn't run on this during the election.

It did not really help that they continued to support Trudeau's government when everyone was calling for a snap election. Had they done that a year before the actual election they could have increased the number of their seats significantly. But by the time of the election they were seen as sellouts that would rather have their pension even if Canada burns. Their previous voterbase hated them more then the Liberals and when Pierre Pollivete turned out to be a wet blanket not interested in actual addressing the concerns people had, they gave up and either did not vote or vote for the only party that would improve things (by accelerating into the ground and forcing a rebuild of the nation)With the exception of Nunavut, basically all remaining NDP seats are within city centres. All those once safe NDP ridings in the middle of nowhere with high Indigenous populations went to either the Conservatives or the Liberals. These communities still only represent a small fraction of seats in parliament and they won't be a deciding factor in terms of winning or losing an election, but for a party that was already only holding on to like ~20 seats going into the previous election, it's a big deal. Rural Indigenous communities have essentially abandoned the Federal NDP, and there's a very good chance their support of irresponsible levels of immigration was an important factor
Frankly he's really good at it. We'd already have an Online Harms Bill had the opposition not filibustered the shit out of Liberal legislation over the year plus of Trudeau. With Poilievre's recent statements im starting to wonder if he just enjoys being opposition leader
Maybe they can afford it, because they are what? still 80% white. "Anti immigration" protest in the GTA will look like this. The brits have been voting for it since Tony Blair and even they're snapping.
