Its like a JoJo standoff. What the fuck is this pose and the angle?
I kinda love it.
Or we just deport all the Browns and there is plenty of Healthcare to go around
I'd imagine our healthcare system WOULD be way more practical if we got rid of... what, 30% of the population? People always bring up Scandinavia for examples of countries that incorporate socialised medicine, but those are pretty small countries when compared to the vastness of the Americas, especially when you take into consideration of the fact we're bringing in thousands every year. Overpopulation + socialised medicine cannot work!

Things like globalization, immigration, socialized medicine, I never really thought they were bad ideas. Hell I look forward to a future where humans have actual chips in our brains.

Problem is that I feel like I've been monkey paw'd in every single one. Look forward for when ads chase me on the street because I can't turn off my government-mandated AR chip.

Overpopulation + socialized anything is a recipe for disaster.

Look, I make fun of Communism as much as anyone else, but it can work - on the micro scale, in small populations. Meaning our best go to examples of what it would potentially look like if working as intended are what, scientific outposts in Antarctica, and maybe the Amish? The latter only if you really stretch some definitions?

There's a critical mass of population that guarantees failure for the system. The fact the people pushing for it fail to realize that amuses me more than it should.

We really did the all the shitty parts of the cyberpunk dystopia sci-fi writers wrote about.

Carney has a chance to completely accelerate the crash of our system into oblivion which will have a larger ripple effect than what a mediocre conservative might be able to perform. People, especially the younger generations, are learning to fucking hate the liberals because of all this, and it might serve our purpose better in the long run.
I get the sentiment... but at the same time the problem with deconstruction is forgetting you need to rebuild something after.

Honest question... assuming Carney completely blows a gasket and leaves in disgrace next election, there an idea of what's next or are we rolling the dice?

Depends when, if its at all during trump's term they'll just use him to grift off of again after switching carney out with someone else. If it's after trump leaves then depending on if its a Democrat in the white house the same situation will likely occur

Let's assume best case scenario. Carney serves and Trump's entered some kind of lame duck if not out of office state, and a Republican is the odds on favorite to get elected.

The Dems are in a death spiral. Granted, 3 years in American politics is 30 years anywhere else. But I wouldn’t bet on a “lame duck” Trump at any point in his presidency and I’m very optimistic for JD continuing the MAGA train.

tl;dr It’s unlikely there will be any softening towards Canada in the next 7 years unless Carney suddenly remembers he’s supposed to pretend to be Canadian.

Nah, it's an inevitability since he can't run again. At some point he's gonna need to pass the torch, and when you're close to that point, you're ability to directly influence politics diminishes. (JD Vance would be an indirect one. Definitely agree with you he's the current heir apparent and currently hoping for a Vance/Gabbard ticket.) I basically included that since I don't know when Canadian elections happen and wanted to cover my bases if they happen some 3-4 months before the next US election or something. Basically just want "MUH DRUMPF!!!!" as off the table for the election as possible.

Even if Trump is off the table the socialist establishment will just equate Vance = Trump and the cycle repeats

The boomers will make sure the Liberals stay in power from now until the day Canada inevitably collapses.
