I heard an interview with Daniel Tyrie, the guy promoting the Dominion Society project. Like someone pointed oit on the thread, he used to be Executive Director of the PPC.

The host asked him about the internal workings of the PPC. He said the inside is a mess & he left because of internal conflicts with Max.
If that's the case than I have little hope for the Dominion Society.

Second Sons has a better shot especially if they apply the lessons that Australia's NSM has already learned / learning.

That
I am loving how every new Carney policy pushes more people toward supporting Alberta independence.
If y'all are being honest, you'd remember that nothing ever happens.

But then again nothing happens till something does so who knows?
The liberals really are stopping immigration after all! (by making Canada worse than the third world)
Genuine question. I thought Canada had free healthcare? i legit saw that as a plus, and yet the dude in the vid is saying in the three years he had no access to healthcare? huh?!?

We do, but it's become so degraded from lack of doctors and nurses. Obviously, importing half a million people every year doesn't help this. Some parts of the country might be better than others. On the east coast most people do not have a family doctor, in which case your choices are either the ER, which is always packed or a walk-in clinic which also always packed and eventually closes for the day. Then once you do finally see a doctor there's waiting lists for every scan, test, procedure. If you have something serious it's a very real risk you will die before getting treatment. Some woman died in an ER waiting room out here a year or two ago. OTOH, Canada is leading in it's newly legalized assisted suicide regime, with growing referrals every year, great success!

- poor & declining election results
- allowing non-whites to run as candidates while pretending to against be mass immigration
- Max showing no signs of trying to grow the party, but rather using it as a paycheque and vanity project.
- After 3 elections, why hasn't he been able to recruit any other high profile dissident voices to the party to run as star candidates other than joke meme candidates like Viva Frei, Marc Emery the pot king and that American Meagan TERF chick that was on Rogan once (and didn't even return to her riding to campaign)?
- failing to run a full slate of candidates
Meme candidates are their biggest problem. You know who does well with voters? Someone that can point to prior political success. The PPC needs to attract mayors and MPPs who are fed up with the situation and have solid backgrounds in actual politics, not sitting in front of a mic saying THE WEST HAS FALLEN to the same 30 viewers every Friday.

If they could 'flip' someone like Brad Wall that would be excellent, but they need to get a solid base of practical people in first.

Why do I got the feeling that the Canadian government is trying to prevent people discovering something sketchy in the woods. Like the real truth on who are the actual culprits of the wildfires are.
Late and gay, but as I recall the few arsonists who were caught all had ties to environmentalist movements. It seems the climate disasters aren't happening fast enough for these doomsday prophets, so they're "helping" nature along.

Canadians shouldn't be expected to work like dogs, we deserve better, because we're not Third World indentured servants.
(snip)
The problem is not that Canadians don't want to work, it's that we are not exploitable dogs.
"She had thought that industrial production was a value not to be questioned by anyone; she had thought that these men's urge to expropriate the factories of others was their acknowledgment of the factories value. She, born of the industrial revolution, had not held as conceivable, had forgotten along with the tales of astrology and alchemy, what these men knew in their secret, furtive souls, knew not by means of thought, but by means of that nameless muck which they called their instincts and emotions: that so long as men struggle to stay alive, they'll never produce so little but that the man with the club won't be able to seize it and leave them still less, provided millions of them are willing to submit—that the harder their work and the less their gain, the more submissive the fiber of their spirit—that men who live by pulling levers at an electric switchboard, are not easily ruled, but men who live by digging the soil with their naked fingers, are—that the feudal baron did not need electronic factories in order to drink his brains away out of jeweled goblets, and neither did the rajahs of the People's State of India."

Accelerationists and doomsday cults tend to go hand in hand.

It probably says something that Max hasn't been able to attract any of the political free agents who have been canceled or kicked out of other parties over the years:

- Roman Baber
- Belinda Karahalios
- that Rick Nicholls MPP that Ford turfed over the jab
- there was a 4th Ontario MPP turfed by Ford over COVID non-compliance
- Randy Hillier
- Derek Sloan
- that Kevin Vuong military guy that got turfed by Trudeau in 2021 for sexual assault allegations but won as an independent
- the BC Conservative MLA who got kicked out of her party for commenting on residential schools
- there were a few UCP MLAs turfed in Alberta prior to Danielle Smith winning
- small town councilors banned over COVID stuff
- school trustees harassed for not bending the knee to the alphabet mafia
- that one Lisa Robinson town councilor who keeps getting suspended for being based
- Michael Mantha was kicked out of the Ontario NDP for making a pass at a staffer
- dweebs like Wyatt Claypool were barred from running for Conservative ridings in April because party leadership wanted someone else
- Andrew Lawton from True North got elected in Southwestern ON for the Conservatives despite being a big COVID critic & having a remote history of slurs online.
- Joseph Bourgault, Saskatchewan agribusiness multimillionaire was barred from running for the Conservative leadership against Pierre

Not all of these people are electable or align with the PPC's libertarian principles.

But why haven't any of the spurned & canceled political candidates joined Max & the PPC as an alternative?

While I really was on the Pierre train back when the elections first started getting hyped up, in the end I'm weirdly satisfied that Carney got elected. While Pierre's initial suggestions seemed very preferable to what we had before, it still would have only would have prolonged the inevitable, and looking back on it now, yes, even as a conservative he's still pretty fucking lame and I don't think much would have changed other than the enshitification of Canada to slow down slightly. He's still a politician like everyone else, and what we need is something outside of a politician's hands at this point. Carney has a chance to completely accelerate the crash of our system into oblivion which will have a larger ripple effect than what a mediocre conservative might be able to perform. People, especially the younger generations, are learning to fucking hate the liberals because of all this, and it might serve our purpose better in the long run.
It ain't going to be pretty, but yeah- its basically that. To quote Land, 'the only way out is through'. Even then its going to get nasty. Id like the end result of this to be that everyone views the woke-progressive stuff thats strangled this nation the same way they viewed the NDP in the 90s, or just a very bad dream. Ironically, I'd probably be who the NDP would have wanted in the 70s. Strongly for labour, workers rights, protecting our domestic industries to protect those workers, controlled immigration, gay rights but no troon shit, etc. Funny how far right I've come when I'm from the left originally, still have some left wing views, but I never want to see this progressive shit again. Its far too destructive, the entire mindset.

I am not surprised Carney is still "popular" despite nonstop failures and zero actions.

Canadians are dumbest people on earth.

Some of it is just human nature that the weak & unprincipled flock to the winning side.

The vibes, even if astroturfed to shit, just aren't very good right now surrounding Pierre & the Cons.

In terms of Carney just like Trudeau, it's going to take awhile for the polish to come off the turd.

Pierre is just too weak. Too Canadian. Fake and gay.
