The entire neoliberal West has consolidated into zones where every state has two neoliberal parties that boil down to

1. The "progressive party" that wants to print infinity fiat and import infinity jeets
2. The "conservative party" that wants to print infinity-1 fiat and import infinity-1 jeets

Under such a framework the conservative party only really exists as a pressure relief valve for when the population feels that the shit that's going on is getting just a bit too Weimar for their tastes, either economically or socially, and often still the conservative party only exists for the liberal party to adopt their positions as they become "more moderate" when they have no intent on moderating at all, the Liberals executed this masterfully. There will be no pipelines and expect the jeet flow to continue.

I think the result of the Canadian election is interesting to contrast with what is happening in Europe where populist right parties neoliberals are banning are having more success.

The simple fact is that life isn't shitty enough in Canada yet for things to change, and this is in part due to the urban/suburban divide. Old white boomer leafs are suburban and haven't felt the fruits of diversity urban areas experience, and urban centers are diverse wanting more free gibs so they vote liberal too.

What really has to happen for Canada to change is either a sovereign debt crisis, or the suburbs getting shitty enough to make boomers think twice. But having experienced Canada's third world healthcare system I assumed boomers would be in meltdown mode over how shitty it is. I guess their anti-Americanism is so strong they are perfectly fine with having no healthcare as long as they aren't American.

To the globalist neoliberal I think they have discovered that the true value in the Canadian is their utterly docile Wagyu cut tier niggercattle nature. What has been crafted in the leaf boomer is a creature so self-harming, so against their own interests and the interests of their children, that it's truly a piece of globalist art. To these rootless people Canada serves as a model of how to craft the perfect slave, and it's why in the last month America's neoliberal Democrats are writing delusional propaganda about what Canada actually is. I'm not sure they understand that this ends with the boomers, as when they pass is when Canada will truly descend into a third world failed state of warring ethnic imports, and all the productive young Canadians will have left the country.

China is the rising and ascendant world power and they never had to accomodate foreigners. It's China simply retaking its top position in the world. Rome collapsed in the 15th century but China endures.

China is country that believes itself to be a rising power, and to it's credit it's done remarkably well since Deng Xiaoping took over. However it's facing the same fundamental problems the rest of us face and in many cases has chosen to stick it's fingers in its ears rather than address them. Canada will be considered the "worst" dictatorship in history in the future. Not worst as in the atrocities it has committed but worst in it's competency (or more accurately the lack thereof).

Also do people really think there will be an election THIS early? Realistically the other parties will wait until the average Canadian's "honeymoon" period is over with carney and the new liberals. And it won't happen too late either since it will almost certainly be before trump leaves office. I've heard people say the government should kick Alberta out of Canada (similar to how Malysia kicked out Singapore) since it "doesn't contribute anything anyways." When I heard this I thought "why are they shooting themselves in the foot like this?" But I remembered they voted liberal again so logic isn't their strong-suit.

It would be funny if Alberta's and other smaller independence movements like Newfoundland's succeed but Quebec's doesn't. IMO Quebec will never leave Canada since it's been too liberalized and it's too aligned with Ontario and Ottawa at this point. Even if EVERY other part of Canada (western, northern, maritimes) leaves I still think Quebec will stay with Ontario.
