Buying a car is incredibly out of reach for most in India. It's not uncommon for an entire family of 10+ members to pitch in to a family car over there.

It really informs their tastes in cars. They generally like cars that are extemely cheap but have elements they feel are sophisticated (heated seats, alloy wheels, spoilers, etc) but aren't cars that could be used for farm work, so no wagons or SUVs. Work vehicles arent sophisticated. Sedans and coupes are.

The end result is that the jeet really, REALLY likes the Hyundai Elantra because it's ultra cheap and even the base and mid level trims are "fully loaded" for them

Its really embarrassing when they pull up to car meets in a stock elantra with Indian decals and a ebay spoiler/lip and park next to someones classic mustang or a neoclassic like a mr2.

Tldr jeets ruin everything, even car meets
Jeets also love buying the base model v6 versions of muscle cars and taking the mufflers off of them. Then they slap stickers and fake shit on their cars and then go around terrorising neighborhoods and shitting up car meets blasting their shitty music from blown out speakers. They also loooove buying jeeps and putting shitty big ass wheels and put on tires with no sidewall on them cuz they never go offroad. They always buy a spare wheel to put on the back but they always cheap out and never buy a tire for it. I call them Pajeeps.

The absolute most Indian car I ever saw was a 1993 Mustang convertible, not even a GT, with every piece of stick-on chrome Canadian Tire sold stuck to it and a MASSIVE Sikh medallion, like 10 inches across, hanging from the rear-view mirror, and blasting shitty bhangra music with no bass whatsoever.

I think I laughed for at least 5 hours. It was a ragtop driving a ragtop!

The self defense laws in Canada are beyond ridiculous. You can defend yourself if you're attacked but you can't prepare to defend yourself, aka the attacker is the only one who gets to prep for this fight where he already has the element of surprise. This is the most anti-woman, pro-rapist law imaginable. If a man tries to rape a woman and she isn't allowed to have a gun, a knife, or even pepper spray to defend herself (only dog or bear spray if she has a good excuse for it), she won't be able to defend herself period. What's she gonna do, punch him?

Yeah, the more I think about it the madder I get. Just starting from the idea that conflict is inherently wrong and unnatural, what kind of monster would consider being in a violent situation with another human?

You're not allowed to but if it goes to trial you often get acquitted. Lot of cases where dipshit breaks in to a house, gets a warm buckshot welcome, and the jury falls in favor of the shooter. It's a weird legal area were it's illegal in writing but people are rarely convicted for it, and it only goes to trial if the """"victim"""" has serious injuries or got a 1-way ticket to meet JC.

The key is not to shoot when the assailant is fleeing. Most of the convictions I've seen are people using lethal force when they're no longer in immediate danger.

A lot of Canadas laws come from a place of unfounded optimism and faith in humanity, rather than the sad reality.

The Home Equity Tax is officially being passed by Carney.

Suffer, Boomers. I hope sticking it to Trump is worth losing your home over.

Edit: Here’s the faggot whose been pushing for a home equity tax, who has undoubtedly contributed to everyone under 50 being unable to afford a home.

If you ever had any doubts that socialism is only there to benefit Boomers, here it is straight from the horse’s mouth:

Like a typical Boomer, Kershaw has the typical “Fuck you, I got mine” mindset when he's called out on the retardation that is the Home Equity Tax:

And I'm just going to repost some public info:

He's of course a luxury liberal, living in a home worth over half a million dollars:

The buyers remorse is going to be whiplash inducing, but the boomers deserve it. It'll do them some good as they say to us whenever we complain about our lives getting worse

I just took a look and I see no articles about anything upcoming.

We have the Principal residence exemption where when you sell a property you can exempt 100% of the capital gain (the capital gain is then subject to the inclusion rate where only 50% is taxable (Justo wanted to increase the inclusion rate back up to 66.67%, this used to be 75% before the year 2000 where it went down in stages to 66.67% inclusion down to 50% inclusion rate)

The way it works is when you sell the house you designate the number of years you claim it as your principal residence and you get a free 1+ year as you will own more than 2 properties in the year you sell and move into another house.

Formula...
Sales price (-) Selling costs like commissions and legal fees = Proceeds on disposition

Proceeds (-) Adjust cost basis = Capital gains

Capital gains * Inclusion rate * (Number of years designated as principal residence + 1 / Total years owned) --> This gives you the taxable gain

Taxable gain * Marginal tax rate (taxed the same as other income)

Taxes payable

You only pay capital gains on the house where you owned 2 or more residential properties during the year. Think like a family cottage or your a landlord who is constantly moving from one rental property to another rental property to evict shitty tenants.

In summary Carney isn't going to remove the principal residence exemption as it will be political suicide

Being a minstrel artist was supposed to be political suicide and these geriatric retards voted the same party back in three times in a row.

Do you part, cough on the elderly.
