Canada is a failed state

Did he say maybe vacation in Canada instead this summer? The gall on this guy when people are living paycheque to paycheque and vacations have long passed

Campbell's shut down their plant in Toronto, which means 100% of Campbell's soup in Canada comes from the US.
No more luxury soups.

He say's Canada only represents 1% of the Fentanyl trade, but that is only half true. It is responsible for 1% of the SEIZED Fentanyl. Considering most of the border doesn't even have a fence, its very optimistic about the total trade. And that doesn't even consider precursors and so on.

I can't get over how fucking gung-ho people are about "tariffing them back". Maybe this is just a CBC/Preddit thing - haven't really gotten a reading on actual Canucks.

Niggers, do you realize how badly the US is going to fuck us up? They can remain irrational longer than we can remain solvent, to borrow a phrase. For fuck's sake, just make the Bad Orange Man happy.

I'm not even a Trump worshipper - I just recognize he holds all the cards here. His (stated?) desire to make America self-sufficient isn't even a bad one. Just wish we had someone to vote for in MapleNigger land who would do the same.

Fucking hell Trudeau sounds like he's in a Hollywood movie talking about a wife or a long-term girlfriend when he's speaking about the relationship between the USA and Canada. This is exactly the kind of shit I was trying to explain a few pages ago. People here LITERALLY think geopolitics functions like a TV show, or a debate between students in a classroom. It's deranged.

Trudeau just did a full fledged Chris Chan tier stress-sigh when he was asked if he thinks this is really about the border and fentanyl LMAO

The average american more than 100 miles from the border of Canada won't feel more than a blip.

A fun thing he doesn't mention is not only does Canada export oil to the USA, almost all of Canada's oil is exported. To be refined in the USA and then sent back. Which means that the product will get fucked on the way to the refinery and then fucked on the way back in. And that is just oil. Lots of other stuff follows a similar model.

He's invoking the existence of a Canada that does not now exist. Sorry bro, is it supposed to mean anything to me that Canadians fought alongside Americans in Normandy when you've imported millions of jeets to outcompete and replace those Canadians' grandchildren?
This. That Canada is dead and his faggot cuckold father killed it. We're an economic zone now, so why have any attachment?

I don't keep feeding grandpa's grave just because he used to be alive.

Literally the only card we have is threatening to send our new pajeets in.

Maybe Trump will allow Canadian asylum seekers to clown on Trudeau?

I don't want to watch the speech because I will lose brain cells.

I hate to say it but the speech wasn't bad

mostly because it wasn't political. he just wanted to remind the US of our shared history and closeness, tug on those heartstrings a bit to try to put a little pressure on Trump.

It won't work but it could have been much worse. I half expected him to come out and chastise Trump and call him outright evil. Thank God some one on his staff picked the right approach.

Massage Trump's ego, remind him of our close relations and long friendship between us. We have been side by side as friends and allies since pretty much the beginning. When one side needed aid that call has always been answered.

It won't change much but as much as I detest soy boy this is the right approach
