Trudeau held a private meeting with PP and personally asked him to tone down "border" rhetoric after meeting with Trump because "it would undermine Canada's interest.".

It's so fucking funny.
 
The insanity of all this is the fact there are more and more shocking revelations since Trudeau took office. He seriously is running this country to the ground turning it into Venezuela 2.0 with shittier weather. Canada has been a cesspool of failures where everything is too expensive with the worst housing market only behind a few countries (Australia, Hong Kong, etc) and Canada's debt being more than double that of before Trudeau took office. I've been having plans to talk about securing a stay outside of Canada before it collapses. I may have to make a few trips back to Canada but I wouldn't stay there for long. In any circumstance where Nuclear War happens, or if they plan to usher in a CBDC and it passes is when I leave and never come back.

I can't believe this Trudeau government funneled tens of billions to their donors, party loyalists and WEF/NGO/UN/Ukraine every year and this country is NOT outraged about it.

It's over. There is no recovery from this unless we adopt Argentina-like transformation.

I've been pretty skeptical about Javier Milei like I have been with every politician in the world but I do acknowledge and commend him for his accomplishments such as dramatically reducing inflation in the country. If he could save Argentina, there's a good chance he could save Canada.

Eh, don't be so doom and gloom. Not all is lost. Well, it is lost unless Canadians get off their ass and create direct democracy. It's impossible to save Canada without crashing the real estate market so wages can be competitive internationally without accepting 3rd world status QoL. Deporting/disappearing every single last jeet, haitian, and assorted brown would be a good start. Canadian real estate isn't expensive and quickly choking the country to death because every pasty faced Canadian decided to live in the GTO or the Chinese colony previously known as British Columbia. You also need to ban all foreign ownership of land. This is just something any self respecting country does in an act of self preservation and resistance to foreign interference. Can't be a nation if you'd rather be a piggy bank for foreigners to stash ill-gotten gains in your real estate market. Also, stop tempting the US to smash your economy by letting jeets over the border (see also, "benefits to removing all sub-humans from your nation and you - a beginner's guide to the practical basis for racism").

Honestly, just crashing the real estate market and yeeting the jeets would probably do the trick. It's amazing how much more affordable socialized healthcare is when you remove the parasites from it. Lower CoL drives foreign (read American) investment in local industries. Canada is simply a large resource extraction grid in practice. It's basically a second Russia in terms of geography, population density and distribution, and obsession with tin pot dictators. Be like Russia, sell gas and resources to The EU the USA while maintaining enough local production of goods and services so you can survive long enough if anything disrupts your relations. There's no realistic plan for Canada that supports a protectionist economy that favors in-nation utilization of natural resources produced over exportation. At the end of the day, it's still a relatively low population country that, minus browns, has less than 30 million residents. You're dwarfed by pretty much any mid-sized European nation like Spain, the UK, or Italy. You've got to know your niche and prosper within it. The best case scenario is trying to be American Norway with a healthy sovereign fund propped up by the nationalization of natural resources.

Frankly, the only reason Canada isn't prosperous is because it's governed by neoliberal traitors. Until those guys are gone, the country will just be an economic zone to be reduced to third world status.

At this point I'm convinced Boy King Justin's trying to break everything so he can make some sort of comeback in 2029.

-. He starts some sort of trade war with Trump before the election
-. He gets voted out, but because his party is inexorably intertwined with him and because his stepfather Pierre Trudeau was able to come back he stays as leader
-. He has all the hard left senators he appointed gut or outright block anything the conservatives do in office
-. 4 years of decline later. He'll point to nothing being better or everything being worse and grift right back into office because in his view it's his birthright to lead the country.

He's probably narcissistic and egotistical enough to believe this will work out for him, but I can't imagine the outcome for the Liberal Party of Canada will be any better than that of the Ontario Liberals (i.e. losing official party status and coming in dead last for the past 2 elections. It doesn't help that all of Kathleen Wynne's people are part of the PMO now) The longer Turdeau stays in power, the more likely the LPCs are going to face an extinction level defeat.
