Do you think Canada's foreign reputation will ever catch up to the reality on the ground? If you talk to US progressives they think Canada is some sort of paradise with high wages and good healthcare and plentiful jobs, but it's actually a combination of Soviet tier central planning, foreign money laundering, failed healthcare, and infinity jeets competing to greet people at Walmart.

Our finance minister Freeland (or is it Mark Carney) announced this week that the limit for CMHC insured mortgages for first time homebuyers will be increased to $1.5M.

Starts December first, although details still have to be worked out.

Let's see what the realtor/mortgage peeps think:

The way I see it, they are paying interest on the taxes and CMHC fees for 30 years.

Taxes, permits, municipal and provincial fees add account for 30% of a new home purchase.

Government is doing this to try to save the housing/construction industry as it accounts for 40% of GDP.

Same with the recent and forthcoming interest rate cuts, normies think this is a good thing. It signals higher unemployment, recession and inflation picking back up.
 
The ponzi shit that goes on with the government and the housing bubble is beyond comprehension. Canada's credit rating should be F-

As I understand it the government auctions bonds to raise cash to deficit spend, then it takes that cash and now buys mortgage bonds to lower yields on mortgages and keep prices high juicing the bubble, and the CMHC has guaranteed those mortgages so the brokers and lenders that created them engaged in moral hazard knowing the taxpayer bagholds the risk on the mortgages by guaranteeing them, and now the size of those allowed guaranteed mortgages has increased. And supposedly the central bank is doing QT opposite of the government's actions.

So the government prints money, pumps houses, then the taxpayer gets to baghold the risk at the higher prices while middlemen don't have to care about the risk. Absolutely fucking retarded. And we haven't even touched on the mortgage fraud like jeets faking income etc...

It's clear that the government considers the dollar value being high to be the most important thing to protect for houses, presumably to keep the GDP number high and provide boomers with an illiquid high net worth that they can reverse mortgage to spend on shit.

But despite this Toronto housing has dropped and the Canadian economy is dogshit and the bubble is still in trouble and it's not clear high prices can be maintained. Are the reverse mortgagers getting their loans called?

And this isn't even touching on the clusterfuck that is commercial real estate.

1) I wish they'd stop lying by representing PRs granted as the total number of immigrants, when the real number is nearly 3x that.

Unlike America which has brief fluorishes of economic populist policy on the left and right all of Canada's political parties are full pedal to the metal neoliberal.

PP will say that he will cut the immigration and may even do so for a while, but at the end of the day expect the jeets to flow.

The microscopic area Canadians are allowed to actually debate politically are issues like whether the teacher has to tell the parent their kid is a tranny or not, step outside that box and you'll get emergency acted.

So recently I took a very long trip across Northern Ontario and had to stop for gas n' goyslop burgers several times. Now I know Canada gets made fun of for being so JEETED, but it is worse than anyone realizes. They are in Marathon. They are in White River. They are probably in fucking Schreiber, if I'd stopped there. Go on and look them up on Google Maps, zoom way out so you're properly appraised of their remoteness. Indians. There. What a staggering indictment of how awful India is, that they would rather move to White-fucking-River to pump gas instead of in their little jungle village back home.

I pray it does not get worse and our beautiful northern beaches in Alona Bay and Old Woman Bay and the rest remain un-shitted.

These graphs and this dumb bitch prove just how deceitful both TFWs and International Students are. They are ADMITTING they've committed fraud and used the previous programs as a means of aquiring PR. Imagine having the audacity to complain to a host country that they're not letting you defraud them.

TFWs, International Students and "Asylum Seekers" need to be bullied until they fucking leave.

I remember walking outside at night and I was asked by some cyclists about a person named "Zach" or something like that. It turns out the person who the cyclist mentioned tried to kill his friend. Before that, 2 police cars were investigating the area. I always had to watch out for Coyotes walking around in my neighborhood. But serial killers too? Fortunately it isn't common but I fear that it would be commonplace one day with the mass influx of poojeets.

All of these ads and videos the jeets make whenever they get told "no" are made specifically to rile up others of their kind. Their apparent strength comes from numbers alone, so they're very adept at mobilizing each other.
 
PP wants to allow foreign health care workers to bring their credentials to work in Canada, but that's a dumb idea for three reasons:
1) regulation of health care is a provincial responsibility, so he can't do shit without the consent of the provinces
2) bringing in so many foreign workers will crash wages in health care, especially in the private sector, due to basic supply and demand
3) people will die because third-world health care workers come from countries with vastly inferior standards of education and training where there are not taught basic health and safety
On point 3, I don't want to contract hepatitis because some nurse from Ethiopia or Laos was never properly taught how to sterilize equipment before a procedure.
