Reading r/Canada for the schadenfreude is a new hobby of mine. For years Canadians have been incredibly smug about how liberal they are how Americans are awful, racist hicks, so seeing them all destroy their society just to virtue signal and then immediately heel turn and become racists overnight is hilarious and well deserved.

I'm starting to think, more and more, that leading the country should be a short term thing, performed by a larger pool of people. Government positions should unironically be determined by lottery. Or do the monarchy thing where if shit gets bad enough the monarch's life is on the line.

Democracy is good but universal suffrage is not -- I am convinced that not everyone should be eligable to vote. Make it an IQ test or some other evaluation of knowledge to gain voting rights.

Good luck with that. Whoever is in power just rigs the selection criteria to favor demographics most likely to vote for them. Easier just to disbar anyone who isn't physically fit, gainfully employed, and not receiving any type of welfare from voting. 'course, this also creates a system where the top 20% of the population basically runs the show. It could be worse, but you will have a ton of insufferable liberals in this number. Fortunately, a lot of the worst people in any country are some combination of fat or old, and this removes them from voting pools too. Literally a democracy of healthy, working class people not on welfare. If you can prevent parasites from somehow entering the voter rolls, it's about as good as it can get.

Personally, I can say I've felt it building in me for a little over half a decade now. I was out in BC and saw the immigration and drug problems years before places like Toronto would face to a similar degree. They were always fucked being so close to East Asia; hell, look at their housing prices in the early 2010s. Those prices largely used to be an issue of vacant homes from foreign investment, but the proximity was a contributor.

I was out there for some graduate work, though I didn't stay long, and one of my most clear memories is of all the fucking student-run foreigner affinity groups/clubs they have in these schools and how nearly every brown person would keep to its own kind and never speak English unless the situation requires it to shittily attempt to bridge any language barrier. There wasn't a single unifying factor for the student body; not even the academia.

I was so used to the decent assimilating brown doctor growing up, so this was really jarring to notice. And there's no way anyone couldn't notice it.

It's worth watching in its entirety—it's not that long for parliament footage standards—but it starts getting really interesting around 12-14 minutes in. People need to take this information and never shut the fuck up about it until these faggots get set adrift.

The money listed here is for refugees in the actual refugee program, not fake refugee "migrants."

If we're going to intentionally bring people in from war zones or fucked up places, I fully support providing assistance for a period of time and help learning English or French as well as getting work. The number should be small because that's expensive. This worked well for Viet refugees in years gone by, for example.

The fake refugees coming in as "migrants" should be deported on sight.

There's a difference though. The Vietnamese are a race of resilient people who fought seemingly endless wars for decades against some of the greatest powers of the world and emerged victorious. Modern refugees are from various African countries like the Ivory Coast, where they have fought against the clitoris for centuries.

Big shout out to this youtube channel doing these clips. I think parliament is deliberately made as excruciatingly painful to sit through as possible with how much time is wasted, so getting it all whittled down without commentary is a huge public service.
