It says their 'religion' allows them to shave beards when medically necessary, and the staff deemed it medically necessary. So what's the problem?

It did not occur to me to respond to this, but yes, that is ultimately why Canada is doomed as a nation. With due respect to @wry wrangler, immigration is just a facet (albeit an absolutely crucial one) of a larger problem. Our so-called ruling class led by Justin Trudeau shredded the social contract that kept society in the anglo sphere stable compared to the rest of the world. Anyone who has even a cursory knowledge of Thomas Hobbes' Leviathan knows that the populace surrenders some personal sovereignty, notably the right to violence, to a sovereign in exchange for safety and protection from outside threats. All the government as to do is maintain order and to not screw things up so badly that it causes an uprising.

Of course, I would not be surprised if PMJT fell asleep during that chapter of Political Theory 101 because his narcissism led him to adopt absolutism as his personal philosophy. There is footage on X that reveals that PMJT believes that he was "born" for this role and that when he fights, he wins. He has a vision for this country that only he and an anointed few can comprehend because he grew up in the halls of power. That is all bunk, of course. Everything Trudeau is is because his grandfather owned several gas stations in Quebec, which is the source of the family wealth. That same wealth allowed his father, Pierre, to attain a law degree that paved the way for his political career. We should not forget that his mother, Margret, was the daughter of a Liberal cabinet minister and from an influential Vancouver family. Everything Trudeau has comes from his family and nothing more, but I digress.

At the expense of sounding like an armchair psychologist, I will reiterate that Trudeau is a textbook narcissist. You could say that he believes that he is the state. He has an extremely high sense of self-importance as he believes Canada wields a level of influence equal or even greater to that of the United States. He shows up at every G7/20/COP with the pomp and circumstance you would have expected from the 17th century House of Bourbon. As such, he craves admiration and carefully cultivated the persona of a wise and compassionate leader. Yet the truth is that he cares only for his goals and desires while disregarding the needs of average Canadians.

The TL;DR? He believes that Canadian society does not need a social contract because he is under the delusion that he knows what every Canadian needs.

People are not individuals with their own thoughts and feelings to him. He expects everyone to conform to his worldview and that includes the immigrants that he brings here en masse so that he can show how progressive and cosmopolitan "his" Canada is. He believes that Canada is winning the fight against climate change despite contributing only 2% of the world's CO2 emissions. He believes that Canadian society is harmonious when violent crime and theft is up, drug use is up, and people are at each other's throats thanks to polarization. He believes Canada is the envy of the world when our healthcare system is failing, rent/housing costs are out of control, and mass migration has brought de facto indentured labor back in force while damaging social cohesion.

It is clear as day that our government has lost the plot. Our law enforcement and judiciary outright refuse to maintain order and the fact that violent crime is on the rise is proof enough of that. Now that his policy is systematically making Canadians poorer and wiping out the middle class, there is no reason for Canadians to hold up our end of the "bargain".

It's normal medical procedure to shave an area that's being cut into. Even the singhoids say in the article that it can be done due to medical necessity. But these ones turned around and are trying to get free shit.

Facts! I completely agree and that's why I'm asking if it's a trap like a fake convoy to get stupid people who think they can have him resign by going in front of the Parliament and make a so called "convoy", riled up to go there for nothing.

One or the other is the same we don't have good candidates and even if we would they would be corrupt quick and quickly forget who got him in line for the job. Jeets are a menace and a weapon against all of us without us having any clue of how bad it will become.

I saw advertisements the other day for like $45 for either 200 or 250 gigs. I've never came close to the 8 gigs in my plan, but I might switch because it's literally the same price.

These LPC/N Canadians are wealthy enough that the cost of living doesn't register in their pocketbooks. Many of them are like Turdeau - they don't personally buy, let alone COOK, their own food; they have assistants for that, with whom they leave a credit card to spend whatever money, they don't even look at the bill, that's for the accountant to deal with. They may have never even cooked in their life. Don't bother them with details; they are doing just fine. The interest rate hikes made their investments grow faster. Anyone who can afford to hire a personal chef is not worried about the cost of living, like, AT ALL. They might even be Trust Fund Babies like Turdeau. They're well-heeled, do the cocktail party circuit, rub shoulders with other elites, and wait for their LPC buddies to give them some plum contract/appointment/whatever to thank them for their generous donations to the Party.

Then there's the ones stuck on benefits, who aren't smart enough to figure out that Turdeau is responsible for life being made much more difficult than it already has been, and they only have blame for the CPC for trying to 'take away' their gibs me dat. I know at least one guy - senior on a pension - who despite being flatass broke most of the time, thinks Justin Turdeau is doing a Good Job ™️ . Of course the guy's from Surrey and kind of an alcoholic and a bit of a narcissist so there's that.

Like as long as Ive lived (early 30s) the only good time I can really remember was my childhood. After 2008, while Ive personally had good times, we've just been in some massive decline

Stop relying on the government, Canadians need to be the change they want to see in their own lives, unironically. Relying on the government to solve political problems the government caused is redundant. Its all most can do, but if you can be more independent, more insulated, move away from toronto or vancouver, learn to do so, find a way to survive, and insulate yourself.

The other part of Western democracies is that you have the protection of minorities from government overreach, individual liberties and ways for people to insulate themselves from retards, and Canada has none of that, unlike our neighbors to the south.

Fucking hell, is Quebec really in play?

The area from Montreal to Toronto basically decides our elections - Americans ITT, never let them take away the Electoral College, you'll look like us up here in Leafistan if it happens - , and a lot of it might as well be a Liberal Stronghold. This is the second seat in those supposedly Safe ridings the LPC has lost - I think the writing's on the wall that our next election will be a bloodbath, but the question is "Can Trudy read that writing?' If nothing else I think Singh can see that writing, hence trying far too late to distance himself/the NDP from them, but methinks our next election is being pushed back as far as possible, and any further by-elections are going to keep the bleeding going.
