Hello fellow sufferers. I hope you’ve all had a lovely holiday season.

I just wanted to see if anyone else is noticing the number of elbows-up Canadians trying to explain why it’s so horrible that Trump snatched Maduro because Venezuelan oil coming back online will screw western Canada. As though they care.

I mean, we’ve existed with Venezuelan oil in the past. My cousin (petroleum engineer) used to work there, met his wife there. They are in Houston now but pre Chavez AB and Venezuela were both doing well.

They’ve been able to avoid properly developing Canadian oil and diversifying markets plus green bullshit because of a lack of competition. It’s not that we can’t compete, but rather that Canada (at the federal level) refuses to do anything to be competitive.

Anyways, the idea that it’s better to have a commie dictator in place to keep oil prices up is certainly a take.

America intervening in Venezuela is a net-positive for Canada, asserting American hegemony in the American continent ensures that Canada only needs to maintain close relations with America to reap the benefits of our own continent. This has been the Canadian tactic for decades, we piggyback off America's successes.

The problem are the morons in Ottawa and all the Liberal idiot voters who have Trump Derangement Syndrome.

It is much easier and beneficial for Canada to maintain close ties with the USA rather than go to through the trouble of appeasing Latin America which is largely impoverished and unstable to begin with. America can use its power to extract the resources and capital out of Latin America, and Canada can benefit from that indirectly through trade and commerce with America.

Canadians time and again continue to forget that it was American money flowing through Canada that made Canada developed, all that manufacturing investment from the 1960's and the 1970' came from America.

Essentially, a wealthier America is a wealthier Canada.

Again, the problem is Ottawa and the idiot voters who are willingly blocking us from economic integration with America.

This is like Pierre Trudeau all over again trying to nationalize our industries and mistreat American investors, that never worked out, it will never work out.

We are in many ways already like a 51st state to begin with, Trump making a joke about it is hardly cause for concern, Canada's economic fortunes post-World War II is owed to America.

This is different from America intervening in other continents, this is our own continent, our own backyard, Canada benefits from America controlling our own region. Canada does not benefit sending a bunch of money and troops to the other side of the planet.

Canadians will post perfectly fine looking houses and then act like they are abominations.

Maybe this is bait, maybe it's not. In any case, there is very little that is good about the construction of multi-level apartment buildings like this. Having multiple renters crammed in one building practically next to each other introduces a fair amount of problems that can be solved by having them be separate, or at the very least having regular townhomes with enough space.

Noise complaints, especially when people need to sleep of work, is one issue. Untrained pets are another. Disease, which happens much easier in closer spaces where quarantine is harder; if some stupid Indian-related outbreak happens inside one of these apartments, everyone in there is pretty much cooked. And also, if a fire happens in one of the apartments, the people in there are cooked in a quite literal sense.

The strong suit to these is that they're cheap but the price point shouldn't be the only reason why something is purchased.

Amazing to me how uneducated the average Liberal is. They somehow support both Ukraine and Maduro, despite Maduro's capture being a pretty significant blow for Russia. I would estimate that about 80 - 90 percent of the people in Canada suffer from some sort of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

A self-described “militant” Antifa cell based in Canada is openly calling for sabotage, attacks, and anti-American riots in response to the arrest of Venezuelan socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro, raising renewed questions about why Canada continues to resist designating violent Antifa networks as terrorist organizations as the U.S. government has.

The call to violence appeared this week in an anonymous post attributed to L’Organisation révolutionnaire anarchiste, a Montreal-based anarchist group aligned with the broader Antifa movement. The call to violence was distributed to other websites that serve as organizing hubs for Antifa cells within Canada.

The post urges followers to carry out “direct action,” including “sabotage and attacks,” and to target American businesses operating in Montreal in retaliation for a U.S.-led operation that captured Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores. Antifa has had a persistent presence in Montreal for decades, often just achieving street violence and property destruction.

It is simple, Antifa is the militant wing of the Liberal Party and New Democratic Party composed of far leftist teachers and government workers. They are a mob for hire.

Mandeep offers a warning...
You know those old company towns? The ones wherein almost every working-age person was employed at the same factory, or mine, or mill, or whatever? If that workplace shut down, then the whole town is fucked. The local economy crashes and so does the quality and standard of life for everyone in it. Canada is basically that company town, but the factory is real estate. So much of the country's economy is based on real estate and this farce that real estate value has to continuously increase over time. This is a sort of unspoken fact that every politician knows - they have to ignore the housing crisis, even make it worse, because the housing crisis props up everything else.

Mandeep the roach is correct. What will happen to the economy once the slumlords can't charge 20 roaches to infest their 3-bedroom suburban house? What will happen to the condo-developers once real estate speculators realize that the investment won't pan out? What will the banks do once the landlords can't pay their 30 mortgages? It won't just affect the affluent: everyone will suffer because of their greed.

Idiot conspiritards like you, with all your random capitalizations, are all morons.

You don't know shit about shit, and you aren't a millionth as smart as you think you are.
has I given you enough time to come up with any argument at all, or is this splatter of fallacies still all you got?

You can't keep pushing the consequences off forever. At some point, Canada and the rest of us in the west will have to reckon with our fundamental economic situation. Im assuming that's why all of our elites are so gung ho on importing infinity Indians, it let's you push the inevitable off by a few years.

Liberal Anthony Germain won Terra Nova—The Peninsulas in the last election by 12 votes. They did a judicial recount and overturned the result giving it to Conservative Jonathan Rowe because some many of the ballots were marked incorrectly. If you read between the lines, Liberal voters in the riding were too retarded to mark an X.

Expecting Newfoundlanders to be able to read is expecting way too much of them.
