https://news.sky.com/story/row-over-new-greggs-vegan-sausage-rolls-heats-up-11597679 (https://archive.ph/5Ba6o)

A heated row has broken out over a move by Britain's largest bakery chain to launch a vegan sausage roll.

The pastry, which is filled with a meat substitute and encased in 96 pastry layers, is available in 950 Greggs stores across the country.

It was promised after 20,000 people signed a petition calling for the snack to be launched to accommodate plant-based diet eaters.

But the vegan sausage roll's launch has been greeted by a mixed reaction: Some consumers welcomed it, while others voiced their objections.

Cook and food poverty campaigner Jack Monroe declared she was "frantically googling to see what time my nearest opens tomorrow morning because I will be outside".

While TV writer Brydie Lee-Kennedy called herself "very pro the Greggs vegan sausage roll because anything that wrenches veganism back from the 'clean eating' wellness folk is a good thing".

One Twitter user wrote that finding vegan sausage rolls missing from a store in Corby had "ruined my morning".

Another said: "My son is allergic to dairy products which means I can't really go to Greggs when he's with me. Now I can. Thank you vegans."

TV presenter Piers Morgan led the charge of those outraged by the new roll.

"Nobody was waiting for a vegan bloody sausage, you PC-ravaged clowns," he wrote on Twitter.

Mr Morgan later complained at receiving "howling abuse from vegans", adding: "I get it, you're all hangry. I would be too if I only ate plants and gruel."

Another Twitter user said: "I really struggle to believe that 20,000 vegans are that desperate to eat in a Greggs."

"You don't paint a mustach (sic) on the Mona Lisa and you don't mess with the perfect sausage roll," one quipped.

Journalist Nooruddean Choudry suggested Greggs introduce a halal steak bake to "crank the fume levels right up to 11".

The bakery chain told concerned customers that "change is good" and that there would "always be a classic sausage roll".

It comes on the same day McDonald's launched its first vegetarian "Happy Meal", designed for children.

The new dish comes with a "veggie wrap", instead of the usual chicken or beef option.

It should be noted that Piers Morgan and Greggs share the same PR firm, so I'm thinking this is some serious faux outrage and South Park KKK gambiting here.

Starmerbros, I'm not feeling so good....
That session is brutal so far.

David Davis opens the debate, asks the first question. Gives way to Richard Burgon who immediately asks: "why is Harriet Harman and the York Central MP still expelled from the Labour party when Mandelson is still in?". Then Corbyn IMMEDIATELY jumps up to pounce.

This isn't just an opposition thing, even the Labour left are joining in to kick the PM and Lammy.

This will not end well for Starmer - either way he is done, before or after the Conference doesn't matter.

If he hangs on and kicks out Burgon, Stringer, Kyle, Ribiero-Addy etc. demanding total conformity and obedience then there will be 150+ MP's leaving. He'll not only have a minority government but also no working majority - is he that arrogant to end the Labour party because some of them are now asking very pertinent questions?

I think he is.

Endgame Season is here.

Grab the Popcorn, it's going to be a wild ride.

Also there's fury about Labour plans to turn one of the UK's oldest sea forts, Fort Blockhouse in Hampshire, into a migrant centre:

Currently in Scotland.

It's great. No niggers or jeets anywhere.

Scottish kiwis; your country is alright because it's mostly white. If you don't want to go to shit, you've a vested interest in getting the vermin out because at some point operation Scatter will come to your doorstep.

Forget independence, the vote was no. Forget sneaking it in. If the UK gov. Needs the space (and they soon will) you'll have no choice.

This will involve you soon and you can kiss things goodbye unless you start supporting us speaking up on it.

Scotland is still very regional. There's plenty of ex-granny towns now full of foreigners. I just posted an article on how they're repurposing Scotish student housing for migrants. The "hotels scheme" is ending and now they're using Scottish student housing instead.

ScotBong here.

Niggers and Jeets everywhere.

Glasgow went down the route of "welcoming" every tardoid rapist on the planet into their city because "?" and are now suffering because of increased physical and sexual crime, and dwindling funds to pay for it all.

What is Glasgow's solution? Send them to Edinburgh.

Scotland is uniting with England. I've heard they're flying the Union jack to show solidarity against migrants. I've had a lot of Scottish pals saying good on England, we're proud of you for flying your flag. Next world cup they might even support England if we play Germany or an African team! Any other teams they're still supporting someone else though.

If I didn't know the government was intentionally doing this I would say why do they care. "Sue me faggot, they will all be eaten by Lions in Africa and I own a money printer" would be my response.

British politics in a nutshell. Nonces with so many skeletons they can't fit in the closet. As soon as one backstabs another publicly they all start doing it. It's like this scene in silent hill.

I've not heard chatter that the Scots and now Supporting England, there is still a lot of retarded nationalism in Scotland, but I have heard they are less inclined to call them cunts. Which is a start.

Scotland are fucking stupid and fanning the flames in Dundee.

Due to student flats not being occupied currently they have given all the student housing over to Asylum seekers. Which means students now don't have any where to live and the illegals have access to a bunch of stupid teenage girls leaving home for the first time. What could go wrong? They're probably thinking schools have better security than most hotels, which makes them harder to protest and laws will punish protesters harder for doing it on school grounds.

Govern smarter
BBC
What happens when the students come back?

This is like watching the end of Casino.
Starmer's field of dreams turning into a bit of a nightmare there.

Watching on a delay. It's fascinating.

Very true. Until very recently, places like the trossachs were still mostly immigrant free due to their tendency to stick to the major cities. Last time I was up there was like a breath of fresh air, even though the early signs of invasion were still visible.

Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen city centres are now infested to one degree or another.

Glasgow is now having problems because of overcrowding, Edinburgh has what was once a very nice central hotel on a High End street bulging with African and Middle Eastern men causing offence to residents, the very residents that actually invited them, and Dundee is throwing students out of student accommodations.

It takes time, but you'll get the hang of things eventually.

Former Tory MP Maria Caulfield defects to Reform UK:

Also, this take by the BBC from the article below is very accurate for a change:

'For Labour, the fear that runs to their bones is bequeathing power to an outfit they loathe, Reform UK.

For the Conservatives, frequently leaking defectors to Nigel Farage, every one sharpens the existential questions they confront.

And for the Liberal Democrats, they have a record breaking 72 MPs but are frustrated at a perceived lack of attention, amid the din elsewhere.'

As for the Greens, and Plaid, there's also little in the way of growth.

The SNP might be slowly rebounding, but a lot of people will still treat them with disdain due to 'what Nicola did'.

Its ogre. If Queer Stalin is still there this time next week we should send in the troops.

I don't think I've ever seen both sides of the House gangbang a fellow politician like they did today. It was supposed to be a debate on Mandelson, but it was quite clear where the fingers and vitriol were pointing.

Standout mentions...

Emily Thornberry - A heel turn that Vince McMahon would be proud of writing. From toadying, mid-table bench warmer to the fucking grim reaper.

Sir Edward Leigh - A quick bit of tag team action to make John Slinger look like the cretin he is, then a masterclass on why he is the Father Of The House.

Stephen Flynn - Classic Scottish rhetoric. The kind we've been missing since devolution.

Now somebody give us that FBI file.

Scotland has one big migrant immunity. It's such a miserable cold place that no one but the Scottish want to live there. With winter hitting a lot of them will catch the train to London and never be seen again. Uber eats and deliveroo will get a bunch of new drivers and no one will question anything. Hey look free houses we can put more migrants in.

I'm hoping reform get massively more radical. Imagine how fun it would be if week 1 Reform come in and say they're stopping the boats through military force. Squads will be stationed across the entire border with France and any small boats approaching will be considered to be hostile terrorist people slavers. Given one warning before soldiers open fire. If Reform have control of the military they should be able to do it and there's no law saying you can't stop terrorists invading your country.

I did find out something interesting from those cop shops. Apparently the 3rd most common illegal immigrant are slant eyed niggers. How many little brown slant eyed people do you see all over the place? How can they be so common yet never seen?

Fantastic point raised in that debate earlier today.

David Lammy was Foreign Secretary when Mandelson was appointed and he also gets control over which ambassador is chosen. Blair/Rayner/the Labour left are aiming to oust Starmer and I reckon it'll happen before Christmas going into the Senedd election next year and the May locals.

I have been seeing retards calling the protesters ordering Indian food hypocrites (someone took a video of one guy buying from a food vendor).
Why yes eating foreign food means the bongs need to let gorillions of foreigners into Britain. 🤦‍♂️
"but the food"

That’s because their leader is busy on a bouncy castle made of underpants.

Haven’t finished it yet but it was absolutely damning. I also think Richard Burgon is a faggot but he was steaming at the ears going in on Starmer too.

It’s obvious Starmer doesn’t run his twitter but it’s embarrassing his media team are tweeting about his stupid propoganda Netflix series winning an award and “Division” when he didn’t even turn up to parliament today. Maybe put the phone down and hide in the bunker with him.

Like it him or hate him but at least Johnson turned up when he was being raked over the coals during party gate. It just reminds me when Starmer was in opposition what a self righteous prick he was preaching about morals and “doing the right thing” but he’s too much of a coward face people now it’s his turn. Honestly I was doling out the rainbows as much as anyone before but he is done tbh.

Oh god please let this take Lammy down as well. It'll be a Starmer/Lammy double whammy, and let's kick Streeting to the kerb too, while we're at it. Disingenuous fuck. Labour have spent the last year and a bit firefighting and staving off scandals. Whoever replaces Starmer is going to be immediately engulfed in all the same shit, because the only viable candidates to replace him are part of the same rotten core.

Meanwhile, right after ditching the House, Starmer has set out to purge MI5 of the disloyal and anyone who didn't help cover up the Mandy files. It's officially the result of a BBC investigation into a "neo nazi agent", but the timing is just incredibly coincidental, right after the glowies embarrassed him in front of the world.

It would be nice little bonus if Lammy got dragged too. Would he have even bothered doing the due diligence in his role though? He's always struck me as one of those MPs thats just "there". He'll have had enough common sense to pick a side, but does he have the nous for any shenanigans of his own? I'm not so sure about that. He strikes me as the kind of man who just does what he's told (you know, like his kind used to).

I think that was the most damning part of all. Whatever his excuse, its not good. Its either an admission of guilt or a sign of someone unsuited to their role. We all know the latter is true. We just need confirmation of the former.

Social workers fucked up with Southport killer:
Well, I never!

Just as an aside, this sentence made my inner grammar nazi twitch its arm a little:

Violence-obsessed Axel Rudakubana had assaulted other children, attacked his own father and been caught carrying knives between 2019 and July 2024, when he murdered three girls at a dance studio.

There should be a comma between "father" and "and", otherwise it looks like a retard trying to say that his father was caught carrying knives. Really it should be "father, and had been caught", as the prior clause creates enough ambiguity to require restating the past perfect tense for the final element of the list.

It's a run-on sentence, too.
