A heated row has broken out over a move by Britain's largest bakery chain to launch a vegan sausage roll.

The pastry, which is filled with a meat substitute and encased in 96 pastry layers, is available in 950 Greggs stores across the country.

It was promised after 20,000 people signed a petition calling for the snack to be launched to accommodate plant-based diet eaters.

But the vegan sausage roll's launch has been greeted by a mixed reaction: Some consumers welcomed it, while others voiced their objections.

Cook and food poverty campaigner Jack Monroe declared she was "frantically googling to see what time my nearest opens tomorrow morning because I will be outside".

While TV writer Brydie Lee-Kennedy called herself "very pro the Greggs vegan sausage roll because anything that wrenches veganism back from the 'clean eating' wellness folk is a good thing".

One Twitter user wrote that finding vegan sausage rolls missing from a store in Corby had "ruined my morning".

Another said: "My son is allergic to dairy products which means I can't really go to Greggs when he's with me. Now I can. Thank you vegans."

TV presenter Piers Morgan led the charge of those outraged by the new roll.

"Nobody was waiting for a vegan bloody sausage, you PC-ravaged clowns," he wrote on Twitter.

Mr Morgan later complained at receiving "howling abuse from vegans", adding: "I get it, you're all hangry. I would be too if I only ate plants and gruel."

Another Twitter user said: "I really struggle to believe that 20,000 vegans are that desperate to eat in a Greggs."

"You don't paint a mustach (sic) on the Mona Lisa and you don't mess with the perfect sausage roll," one quipped.

Journalist Nooruddean Choudry suggested Greggs introduce a halal steak bake to "crank the fume levels right up to 11".

The bakery chain told concerned customers that "change is good" and that there would "always be a classic sausage roll".

It comes on the same day McDonald's launched its first vegetarian "Happy Meal", designed for children.

The new dish comes with a "veggie wrap", instead of the usual chicken or beef option.

It should be noted that Piers Morgan and Greggs share the same PR firm, so I'm thinking this is some serious faux outrage and South Park KKK gambiting here.

The women only train carriage thing is effortlessly defeated by the recent story about the degenerate deciding to stand there with his trousers around his ankles.

When you've got people acting like that do you think they're going to obey the, "no men allowed rules" or will those go the same way as "don't have your cock out on public"?

This proposed solution does nothing about the root cause so will not fix anything. But it will make busy work, cost a lot of money and give charities and NGOs something to whine about when it fails. Instead I suggest we drive the people suggesting it out into the street like the degenerate beggers they are and bring back the stocks and beatings instead.

But Twitter taught me that all we need to do is teach men how not to rape?

Only the black ones at the back of the bus:

Rosa Parks refuses to give up her seat she’s a hero. I refuse to give up my seat and all I get is angry stares and a tired looking pregnant woman standing in front of me.

It’s one rule for the rich and one rule the poor.

Dublin's still going.
I can't find anything about yesterday surprisingly but they say there's apparently going to be more protests tonight like there have been since monday when the rape happened. So I assume shit happened last night too. Nothing I can see from it though. They explicitly say the past two days have been not peaceful protests, but the first protest was on monday so surely we're up to three nights now?
Cliona Richardson also said that many of those involved in the violence are not from the Saggart area and have come in from other parts of the country and abroad.
The first part is understandable. Like yea they probably aren't local because Saggart is a pretty small place. But who the fuck is crossing borders to protest? Unless they mean it's people from the UK driving down? I don't fucking know how that works.
They're pulling out all the guilt trips they can.
She said gardaí are very conscious of the impact the violence is having on the communities preventing people from going to work, shops, or visiting people in hospital.
I would assume that it's because the trams have been cancelled? But no you will not question why we are importing infinite numbers of rapists or you will not be able to visit people in the hospital. The connection is incredibly obvious really. And since when did the government give a shit? Sorry visiting family in hospital is now a priority when it might be dangerous or whatever bullshit? What about the two fucking years where the government decided that you couldn't see anyone in hospital at all because you might have a cough? Did we forget that they did that to us?
Anyway you know how it's all violent and horrible and this and that.
[Chief Superintendent Michael McNulty] also said that they have no reports of injuries from members of the public.
Apparently 4 guards were injured last night. No footage from it though, not even any articles talking about it. Strange. Still quoting that 'over 300' number.
I can't include the video from this article. However the defensive line the guards set up is hilariously shit. It's literally just those modular fences that you clip together at the ends and are about 3ft tall. They just shoved some of them in the road and that's it. It looks like about three people walked up to them and just fucking kicked them aside as some power move. The video also has a second angle of that van being burnt. It's much easier to identify where it was now. Here. So once again it was a pretty good distance away from the actual hotel. They used the van to barricade what looks like some special employee/access entrance.

I have a problem though. This kicked off on Monday right? The first post I made on it was Tuesday at 9:11 lol. That was using articles that were written and published earlier that day. I can't go back and check because rte are faggots and edit articles instead of publishing new ones, so the article I linked is now entirely different. Thanks rte. But how did I have a photo of the van on fire at 9:11 tuesday when the bodycam shows that the van caught fire around 8pm on tuesday? I could have sworn the van was burnt on monday? But the bodycam lines up perfectly with the photos. I'm not sure and I haven't read anything but I don't think I could have found and read an article with those photos and written a post in less than an hour so I have a suspicion maybe two vans have been burnt. I'm not sure. I cannot find anything on it but at the same time the timeline doesn't make sense to me.

Back to the article. This is an interesting thing to say publicly.
"However ... we are already at a level here whereby our members in soft caps were placed out in the frontline yesterday and we had a fourfold increase of injuries on our members.
"Many of those members are reporting unfit for duty today."
So there have been 5 injuries in total. That sounds like he's talking about more than 5 people doesn't it? And saying that your numbers are going down? While the protests continue? That'll end well. I'll include some photos at the bottom but they are already stretched so thin it's comical.
They also seem to have gone down in number anyway? They say this about yesterday's protests.
The Air Support and Dog Units along with 150 uniform gardaí and 120 public order officers were also involved.
So. 270. That's not 'over 300'.

They posted a couple other articles. One of them is more of this fucking I don't even know but appeals to fake empathy type shit. I read through it and there's no interesting quotes about the actual subject of the article. However one priest said this.
As a resident, to see the village being blocked off ... we can't get into the town or to the village until well after midnight because of the place being cordoned off for securities
What an interesting thing to say. The village is blocked off during the day? But not the night? They let people come and go as they please in the middle of the night? Interesting.

Anyway. The actual article is a load of shit. It bangs on about how the poor ukranian refugees are scared. The entire article is talking about ukranians. They're scared and they feel targeted and all that. Which like yea I get that, they are actual refugees and do somewhat deserve to be there. But not once in this article does it ever even insinuate that it is anything other than ukranians. The entire article makes it sound as if the hotel is just full of ukranians and nothing else. Absolutely nothing else. Aside from you look on google street view and there's random browns all around that area and the african rapist lived there. They're trying to appeal to that empathy for actual refugees and completely sweeping the fact that they are the absolute minority. Essentially 1000 browns using 10 ukranians as human shields.

Posted another one.
15 men and one woman, ranging between 18 and 66 years of age, and with addresses in Dublin, Carlow, Galway and Laois, have appeared before Dublin District Court on public order charges in connection with disturbances at Saggart in County Dublin.
Literally every single article I have read was talking about how it's a bunch of yobs, just young retards who don't know better. It's just the violent youths. I know we're talking about politicians here but come on, 66 isn't a youth. I would assume that this means 13 locals and 3 who aren't. Though Carlow and Laois are only one county away from Dublin anyway, it's pretty close, Manchester to Sheffield type shit.
They highlight one guy, 36 year old father of three but his name's fucking Roberto Iafrate. There's also some Polish sounding guy and a gypo.
They give a full list of the arrested and information. Which seems a bit dodgy. Can't identify the rapist but they will dox these people down to their fucking jobs and the road they live on. Isn't that interesting?
As for the demographics. 4 are under 20. 5 are 20-30. 2 in their 30s, 1 in 40s. 2 in 50s and 1 in 60s. Yes. That does add up to 15 not 16, that is what the article gives. It does not include the 35 year old Italian. So 9 people are under 30, 7 are over 30. And this is youth violence?

Also this is completely unrelated to the rape. I just opened the article because I saw shit on fire and thought it was related.
People are being urged to report stockpiles of bonfire material in their local areas, as Dublin Fire Brigade warns of the dangers of unregulated bonfires in the run up to Halloween.
Dublin Fire Brigade said all bonfires are prohibited.
What a fucking pussy. Imagine banning burning shit.
He urged people to attend organised events which are listed on local authority websites.
"They're safe organised events, some with legal fireworks and so on. And there's great activities there for kids, an awful lot more fun than standing around a bonfire. The message we're trying to get out there is, bonfires are, you know, obviously they're illegal, but they're extremely dangerous."
Tfw need a fucking bonfire and wood pile loisence now. A big heap of burning shit is incredibly dangerous. It might summon a fire atronach and then it might try to have sex with you and no matter how many fire resist potions you take you will still take a single point of burn damage every tick which will start off as a light tickle but will become extremely painful as time goes on but you will do it anyway because you love the fire atronach.

He then goes on to say this.
Dublin Fire Brigade has issued the following advice:
If you find yourself near an unauthorised bonfire or fireworks display:
Never use fireworks under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Keep children at a safe distance.
Stay well back from fires and fireworks.
Never return to a lit firework - wait 20 minutes and soak it in water.
Never throw fireworks.
Yea. You know, illegal bonfires are dangerous and all that shit. Anyway here's how to make them not dangerous. You know just in case you accidentally find yourself at an illegal bonfire. Happens to the best of us really. Sometimes I slip because I live in an uneven muddy area and whoops I just drop the 10 pallets I was carrying and they all just the kinetic energy of it all creates enough heat they set themselves on fire. Happens to the best of us really.

Look at that fearsome line of guards. How could anyone ever even think of breaching that? Not even any riot shields. It's also hard to tell but they're fucking retarded. The part of the road that turns left, that's the entrance to the citywest complex. They are standing in the middle of that. The normal people are standing where the guards should be. But nope, they just let themselves be pushed back like that. There is a pathway basically on the same level as the civilians are standing, if they ran at a straight 90* angle they would go straight into the complex.
1761244448717.png
Look at that simply unbreakable wall. The pathway is just out of shot. But you can see this area just doesn't have any fucking gates at all.
1761244824308.png
Does this count as an illegal bonfire I wonder? Tuesday night btw.
1761244966728.png
It looks a bit overdone to me. I prefer my vanne du gardai to be medium rare, this looks almost well done to me.
1761245124581.png
I feel it might be a bit fucking retarded to put the Irish flag into the things you're burning. But oh well. Also from what it looked like they're just trying to create a pool of burning plastic on the roads to get in the way. That or they just fucking hate the bins.

Van was removed wednesday morning.
The women only train carriage thing is effortlessly defeated by the recent story about the degenerate deciding to stand there with his trousers around his ankles.
When you import a load of people who can't fucking read English what is the point in a sign saying 'women only'? What's it going to do? You tell the rapists that a train carriage is full of women and no men so he has more victims and less strong people to stop him. If someone is fucked up enough to rape someone on a train why do they think that a sign is going to stop them? Rape is illegal. That does not stop them. Women only train cars work in Japan because their police are functional and the rapists do abide by the signs because they're Japanese rapists not brown ones, they keep their raping to the dedicated rape zones, they might be rapists but at least they're civilised rapists. But there's countless videos of browns getting in the women only cars because they can't fucking read Japanese and they don't give a shit about the law or society. Unless there's actual punishments for intentionally getting in the women only car then it will change nothing. We hardly have a punishment for actually raping someone so that's not happening. The real solution is just fucking castrate every brown and any native rapists.

Women should never be put in a situation where they feel the need for anything like this. We should not be trying to carve out safe spaces for women. The entire country should be a safe space for women. We do not need no rape zones. We need no rapists. If the only place a woman can feel safe from the threat of a horde of browns trying to rape her is in a single specific train car then we have failed as a society completely and the ones responsible for it should be hung for treason.
Let's be honest, I really don't think it's white men that are causing this problem. The fact that the explosion in sexual crime has only occurred since the massive change in demographics would be a clear indicator of cause and effect.
The rates of sexual assault have gone from 1.4% to 2.7% from 2014 to 2022. In 2011 there was 9.9% brown. In 2021-2 it was 12.3%. From wikipedia. Proportionally the largest increase was indians and pakistani. Of course.
From a foi request response.
The latest police recorded sexual assault and rape figures, for year ending March 2003 to year ending September 2024, can be found in the Crime in England and Wales Appendix tables, table A5a (rows 67-104). These data are not broken down by ethnicity.
So no. You can't say it was specifically because of an increase in people who come from a culture where rape is normalised because the police simply don't give you that information. Why is that? I wonder. They break down other crimes by ethnicity.
1761247376393.png
Somewhat at least. And even in this bullshit graph where they group jeets and pakis in with actual asians it still shows that they're more likely to be rapists than the national average. Same page shows that brown women are much less likely to be criminals than the men are by a factor of two.

But yea let's be honest. It's not white people's fault. People don't suddenly decide to get twice as rapey over a decade. That's not something that happens that quickly. I would be willing to bet that if we were allowed to see the data the rates of white rapists would stay pretty consistent. It's one of those crimes that's pretty insulated. Drug and theft crimes go up if the economy goes down. No one looks in their bank to see a small number and goes yep I'm off raping now. It's a crime done purely out of a selfish personal desire, it's not driven by society or anything like that in the moment. It's driven by you being a fucking troglodyte who deserves to be hung. Obviously society and culture do affect it, but that is what you grew up in and takes a long time to change, ie longer than a decade. The only reason why there would be more rapes is if there is more rapists. Every white man grows up in the same environment on average, unless there's certain rape hotspots for white people like the fucking bbc offices that have had a disproportionate increase in population then there just won't be a fucking doubling of rapes. You have to have in some way created more of a certain group that is more inclined to rape. Which is just immigration.

Took so long writing this shit's kicked off in Dublin again.
Seems to be smaller?
Around 50 people have gathered at the entrance to the Citywest accommodation centre in Dublin this evening.
They have said that the guards are fucking off next week though. Took the provos years to start an armed campaign after the troubles started. Pretty good at holding grudges is all I'll say. The guards won't stay there forever. The rapists will though.

More bullshit.
"They are not entitled to use violence and break the criminal law, and attack members of An Garda Siochana who are there to defend the Irish public."
They are there to protect immigrants. By the looks of it mostly fucking economic migrants who are there illegally and can't speak either English or Irish. They are not the Irish public. The Irish public are the ones outside the fucking immigration centre. The Irish public does not need the help of an immigration centre because they are fucking Irish. The only people who need the services of the ipas centre are people who are not members of the Irish public that is literally their only fucking job. These lies and attempts at propaganda are wearing ever thinner and getting ever more obvious.

Even more bullshit.
Gardaí have urged people, male juveniles in particular, not to get involved in public disorder
You could have ran with this lie. If only you didn't dox the full name and address of the people involved. Because now we can say for certain that around half of the people arrested are categorically not 'juveniles'. For one, every single person arrested was over the age of 18. So not a juvenile anyway. But even if you want to say 'young people' 7/16 of the ones arrested were over the age of 30.

Yet more bullshit.
Cliona Richardson also said that many of those involved in the violence are not from the Saggart area and have come in from other parts of the country and abroad.
I'll go do the maths again hold on.
Here's where each of the people arrested came from.
Tallaght
Tallaght
Clondalkin
Tallaght
Tallaght
Co Laois
Co Laois.
Carlow
Co Galway
Dublin
Rathfarnham
Tallaght
Tallaght
Dublin
Clondalkin
Saggart

Tallaght, Clondalkin, Saggart, Rathfarnham and obviously Dublin are all in county Dublin.
There are two from county Laois and one from Carlow which are next to each other and only one county away from Dublin, roughly 50 miles and connected by motorway.
The only person from a long way away is the guy from Galway and there is no proof he came from Galway for this protest, that's just where he lives. That's it. There's no one listed here that came from anywhere outside of Ireland. 75% of these people are locals. That is hardly 'many' you disingenuous cunt.

In the space of writing this the number's gone up.
Around 100 people have gathered at the entrance to the Citywest accommodation centre in Dublin this evening.
rte tell you a page has been updated but don't let you see exactly what was changed. Because transparency in media? Lol.

Lots of lawyers in the UK survive by working legal aid claims and the set amount they get won't go up 20-30% to match the new/different tax. I can see big parts of the already fucked courts system just grinding to a halt.
This is mostly the case for Criminal barristers / solicitors and they're notorious for being chronically underpaid for their efforts. The Government, in all their theoretical best intentions -- despite Starmer previously being a criminal barrister -- has made another case for the abandonment of the criminal sector for greener pastures. Expect this to create further problems in the courts, as criminal solicitors and barristers are stretched even thinner then they already are -- with the Crown Court waiting times for trial being nearly three years in some cases.

The Government's newest tax raid to pay for gibs, a bloated bureaucracy, and cultural enrichment has claimed another victim. All we can do is hope that Farage, when he inevitably comes to power, does a Milei-esque spending slash, without which the UK will be fucked regardless of what flavor of politician is charge.

The polls have closed in Caerphilly, the result of the Senedd By-Election should be known at 2am.

Reform UK and Plaid Cymru are the parties who are in contention, but just how well Plaid have done will be anybody's guess - have the Left consolidated behind them or have they split the Left vote?

One thing we do know is Labour have lost the seat - they put no effort into campaigning for and defending the seat and their candidate Richard Tunnicliffe was only fleetingly seen in the area.

The candidates that stood in this by-election are:

Liberal Democrats: Steve Aicheler

Gwlad: Anthony Cook

Greens: Gareth Hughes

Conservatives: Gareth Potter

Reform: Llyr Powell

Ukip: Roger Quilliam

Labour: Richard Tunnicliffe

Plaid Cymru: Lindsay Whittle

Good luck, Llyr.

I wonder if the lack of labour support was punishment by starmer?

Good luck, Llyr.

Labour are certainly going to get punished, and this is the beginning of the turn of the tide.

Remember that Caerphilly is like a lot of towns around the rest of the UK - historically quite socialist, proud of its people and community (three famous footballers hail from the town - Robert Earnshaw, Aaron Ramsey and David Pipe, it's also home to Al Steele of The Korgis) with both local and national businesses trading there.

A friendly and welcoming town which like countless others has been abandoned by the Government of Westminster and left to rot.

Two parties which have traditionally been smaller parties (indeed one of them a lot newer than the other) are now fighting for not just Caerphilly tonight but the whole of Wales in the near future.

In England, it'll be the same except Lib Dems and Greens will be fighting it out to be the champion of the Left in order to take on Reform UK (unless both go into a pre-GE coalition when the time comes).

For all their boil and bluster, Labour have already run out of road.

Plaid have said that they will not consider independence for the first 10 years of governance, if they win control of the Senedd - that's lost them some voters who will only accept independence now.

Good for Lindsey, nothing against him feeling confident.

Some news re: Turnout

33,756 people voted in this by-election, a turnout figure of 50.4%. That is a huge leap on 2021 when turnout here was 44%.

In Caerphilly at Senedd elections, the highest turnout has been the 2021 Senedd election where 44.31% of eligible voters turned out.

The candidates that stood in this by-election are:
Not a single foreign name? Wtf?
Learn to weld.
Welding is the only job that foreigners cannot steal. How the fuck is an arab or subcontinental going to do lines of e's? They fucking can't. e's are in my blood or well they're in my hemoglobin at least, they're in my name, my address, every other word I speak is full of e's, my fucking stomachs full of them too, if I'm bored then my nose has a couple up there too. The arab cannot fathom my genetic predisposition to doing lines of straight e, they don't even know what that is. They would just do a straight line like they write. No one beats the English when it comes to doing e's in any circumstance.
