If they could they'd pass a law making it illegal to point out Gamergate was a complete nothing event and its prominence in woke media is an example of mass hysteria much like the Salem witch trials. It was literally some nerds saying "hey these reviews are bullshit," a fact literally everyone already knew.

The gall of this man is UNBELIEVABLE. Let's put this in context, Iraq was invaded because they supported the Palestinian liberation struggle- not a legitimate reason. Gamergate happened because 'gaming journalists' are even lower industry shills and whores for low-grade payola (dangerhair puss) than writers for gun magazines- a legitimate enough reason, I guess, although GamerGaters could just have stopped reading that crap.

The Iraq attack killed at the very least, several hundred thousand people. Millions more were rendered homeless. Heck, it killed thousands of American soldiers, and gave hundreds of thousands of them traumatic brain injuries (imagine how that statistic looks for Iraqi civilians). Hostile occupying forces are still based in Iraq.

Any trannies who wrote about GamerGate in their suicide notes would have killed themselves anyway for some other reason.

John thinks that these two things, murdering and emmisserating millions of people, and writing mean things about hack writers online, are equivalent.

That was my first thought, but then again, if this ever happened, John would have written a 50 tweet thread bragging about it, and he'd keep mentioning it forever. It would have been his biggest win in the last 6 years.

He's just copying what he had to go through when he was fishing for his own endorsements from bottom-tier PACs. I think his own answers to one of those questionnaires is floating around somewhere on this forum.

It didn't happen. I'd bet my life on it. Based on one simple detail - Wu says they were calls. Those people might exist. I certainly believe people could have told John that they didn't get the big deal at first but realised it was an evil woman-hating harassment campaign etc.

But I don't believe for a second that anyone has phoned Wu up to apologise, like he's implying, or apologised for being part of GamerGate to him specifically on the phone, as he's outright saying. Maaaaaaaaaaaybe over Twitter. Not over the phone. Definitely not while talking to him.

Also, we already know how much he lies about talking on the phone already, as his bullshitting about manning his own cold calls during the scampaign tells us. Emails and DMs are more the style of a Godzilla of Tech, at least when they can be pulled away from their latest pointless speedrun.

With 'no strong women' I assume he means no tits and ass on display, I just watched the trailer and at 1:38 there's a female character that will probably be the Littlefinger and/or Tyrion of the game. Hardly no cleavage and there's a big belt covering her ass so how empowered can she be?

How would they even get his number? Wouldn’t John, after the years’ long stalking campaign, be hyper vigilant about not having a public phone number? Why would he take calls from strangers?

I'd wager it didn't happen but because of different reasons: Nobody who was on the Pro Gamergate side brings it up anymore, it's always people who were against it who keep resurrecting Gamergate. The second reason, and most important one, is that despite her best efforts Wu was so utterly unimportant most people would not remember she was part of it if she didn't bring it up every two days or so.

Back during the 2014 'Tism Holy War, Brianna repeatedly tried to inject herself in the controversy despite both sides wanting her to stay the fuck away from them. Pro GG for the most part mocked her pathetic attempts of becoming the most victimized (her false flags on Steam using her developer account, her "gamergate threatened my house" TV appearance), and she was such a inept and blatant attention whore that Anti GG wanted nothing to do with her either (as revealed by the CON leaks).

If people were really calling Gamergate "victims" to apologize they would be calling Zoe or Anita, not "let me livetweet about my dog freezing to death, oh no gamergate killed my dog how dare they".
