Those photos were taken, what, 5 minutes apart? John wants people to think they were proper before and afters, but he and Frank just took a photo, put up the shower curtains, and took another photo. Then John lied that this was some time apart.

The biggest proof to me is ... well the main one is John is a fucking liar. But also nothing has moved on the desk - not even the mugs or mouse. That stuff has not been used in between photos.

Far be it from me to defend John, but I think that was the joke?

He's certainly autistic enough for it not to be a joke, granted.

There was a photo from the day before with Frank wearing the same shirt while playing a Star Wars game with his tranny husband.

I got that it was attempted humour, but I hadn't picked up Frank was wearing the same shirt in the gaming photo.

The framing of the tweet made it look to me like John's 'joke' was that there had been a couple of weeks buildup to Frank's slapdash solution. So the punchline didn't line up with the photos.

Clearly I hadn't thought to presume those weeks were spent waiting for mail, rather than Frank allegedly cleaning while in fact doing nothing. The Wus have outfoxed me with their alleged humour...

And I was talking about the one with the Star Wars game. I believe we've also seen that shirt at least one other time too.

I'm guessing John doesn't even know who Mike Espy is, let alone enough to vouch for him (take a shot for another "I grew up in Mississippi"). For reference, Espy failed to win the previous special election, though it was closer than most Senate elections. Either way, outside of the Delta and Jackson, Mississippi remains a staunchly red state, so it might not be a landslide Republican win, but it'll still probably be a win.

According to his Wikipedia entry, Espy supports gun rights and has received an award from the NRA, supports Roe v Wade but personality opposes abortion, and wants to cut federal spending.

He has been silent on trannies (so he's a murderer).

Sounds like someone John has thoroughly researched before vomiting up an endorsement.

Mike Espy is a remarkably stupid and corrupt man who is running a campaign that manages to be both lackluster and intensely negative. He isn't going to win. Knowing Johnny's complete lack of intellectual curiosity, he sees "black man, democrat, south" and knows little or nothing about the actual man or his political record.

Cindy Hyde-Smith is a place-holder, mostly, a reliable Republican vote in the Senate. She's never going to be an actual leader, or come up with many ideas or initiatives on her own. She supports Trump and Trump has endorsed her. She's a nice lady, on a personal level, and her office is pretty good with constituent services. Mike Palazzo is a much more impressive person, on an intellectual and political level.

Given how popular Trump is in Mississippi (and he is, he has huge support), and that no one really has anything bad to say about Cindy, and that plenty of people have plenty of bad things to say about Espy, Cindy is going to win reelection handily. Espy would need to turn out huge numbers from both the Delta and from Jackson to overcome Cindy, and it's just not going to happen. I think Jackson will have pretty good turnout this election, but I think voting numbers in the Delta are going to be low. There's no enthusiasm for Biden and that's going to depress turnout among blacks who would otherwise vote Espy.

And lots of people in Mississippi still remember how shitty Mike Espy was as Secretary of Agriculture under President Clinton. He championed policies that were not very helpful to Mississippi growers. Not to mention the whole "indicted on 30 counts of corruption" thing. Yes, he was acquitted, but he's still a slimy motherfucker.

TLDR: Johnny is amazingly ignorant about Mississippi politics and Mississippi politicians.
