Oh look, Wu's incompetence strikes again. Another Rebellion PAC ad premieres here at the farms.

Well, that's a heady mix of incoherence and copyright violations. I guess it doesn't matter if people have no idea who any of the people in the video are, because voting is basically over in the election anyway.

Slowest of slow claps for the Wu team once more.

I like that Wu is using the same american flag waving in his videos that I used in my Dawn of the Wu video. Because I know how and where I found that flag: it was the top result on google for free stock footage of an american flag. Effort.

LOL. Here's what Ed Markey's campaign manager had to say about this.

"Go fuck yourselves" basically.

John constantly refers to Rebellion PAC as a Super PAC. He's also bragged several times about the PAC giving "the maximum amount allowed by law" to candidates' campaigns.

But Super PACs are legally prohibited from donating to individual campaigns. So the maximum amount allowed by law is zero.

Since John is a pathological liar, incredibly stupid, and a longtime criminal, we are faced with three possibilities; the executive director of Rebellion PAC doesn't know what kind of PAC he's executive directing; he's breaking the law by making illegal donations; or he's donating the legal limit of 0.00 dollars and intentionally deceiving his mentally defective orbiters.

Place your bets.

Short version: John's donations aren't illegal. He just doesn't know what kind of PAC he's running: it's a Hybrid PAC, not a Super PAC.

I'm not familiar with the laws around this, but I think it was mentioned that he can donate up to the maximum amount for an individual (which is only a few thousand $).
Maybe it's in John's name, not the PAC's? We can find out when those candidates file their reports.

Should I really make the joke that I'm not sure if John was watching the RNC or playing Fall Guys three nights in a row?

What kind of mentally defective game developer thinks that sticking a crown as big as Dallas on someone's head is a damned Easter egg?

I didn't think it was possible, but John seems to be getting dumber.

I love the subreddit trainwreck. They *still* have the John Flynt thread up. Most of the 72 members are probably Kiwis.

They make "viral video" political ads. The finally got a single video past the *thousand* view mark. Cenk talking about Rebellion PAC hasn't yet hit 100. And again, I'm betting a high percentage of these are Kiwis.

I'm torn about the whole PAC thing. Sure, the wendigo has a much higher shot of ending up in prison now with a job that has consequences for shady/shoddy work, but as fun as the legal process might be in this case, there'd be a real dropoff in milk while the beast is caged.

John Walker Flynt...Yep, I'm on TV :)

Is it just me or was that girl wearing a skirt that was just a little too short?

In addition to the hilarity of the timing, that's 96th fastest on the New Game + Continue (Console) category, and even then he's on the easiest difficulty. 94th fastest in on the highest difficulty.

Even then, she's slower than the vast majority of runners. Only one of the runners on NG+ (PC) is slower than that. Most of the runs on Any% Inferno are faster. Brianna Flyn really needs to stretch for these achievements, huh?

Lol. They release their first ad, and the candidate it’s for tells them to kill it with fire. And of course Wu doubles down on her stupid. I stand behind something you don’t want because in case you haven’t heard yet I’m the executive director!

Well, I'd be astonished if that ad actually gets broadcast anyway. I don't know, maybe TV advertising is swirling the drain so much that the ad sales team just don't care, but I'd expect the legal team to take one glance at the thing and stamp a big fat NOPE on it. Why did they think it was OK to rip off a clip from Monty Python and the Holy Grail and insert it wholesale in their ad that is intended for actual broadcast on real, actual TV? The internet is copyright wild west, and probably nobody is going to notice or care on youtube especially with the 1000 odd views Wu's videos get, but you'd have to be out of your mind to put that on TV.

Anyway, we'll see what happened when WuPac files its accounts. I hope Markey returns their donation too, that would be hilarious. Ignoring the candidate's express wishes just goes to show it's all about Wu's ego, and nothing to do with politics.

It's been mildly frustrating to watch John's shitty scampaigns get away with absolutely ridiculously bad bookkeeping that actually would get a real campaign in seriously hot water, but they've apparently decided to treat his shenanigans as amateur hour bungling rather than the scampaigning it actually is. He appears to stay below the radar by just being too insignificant to bother with.

He might actually get into trouble with this considering Chunk is considered somewhat more serious of a candidate. While electorally he's almost as much of a joke as John, he has some actual political presence.
