LOL. We all knew John was going to use his campaign money as his personal slush fund, but you'd think he wouldn't have been as brazen as this considering his past few filing fuck ups have put him on the IRS's radar.

Not surprised that he paid that ridiculous entry fee to The Wing, because The Godzilla of Women in Tech would rather stop dilating his True and Honest vagina than not be in the Kewl Women in Business Klub! I'll bet he hasn't even gone once to do actual work, and never will until a photo op or some big name shows up. "Oh hi! I just happened to be programming my latest award-winning game on the very same day that Hillary Clinton shows up!" Crazy coincidence, right?"

Was that meet and greet actually catered? IIRC, there was hardly enough people RSVPing to make it worth the money and effort, and I can't recall seeing any refreshments in the photos.

There's no doubt that the "loan" was used to buy the new iPhone, because John needs the latest Apple toy more than oxygen.

I took a closer look at this, and I think there's actually just a bug in whatever FEC system is generating PDFs out of the raw reports. If you go back to the underlying data, the in-kind food item is listed as a receipt, not an expenditure. And indeed on line 11d of the main report we do see that charge listed under "Contributions from the candidate". So really, what that item is saying is that Brianna Wu gave $318.11 of food directly to the campaign.
I assume this really means that John paid for catering out-of-pocket and couldn't reimburse himself for it somehow, so he just counted it as a donation.

By the way, those credit card payments from Frank completely don't add up. There are 34 items that link back to one of four reimbursements to Frank, but the numbers just don't match, either taken by group or as a whole.

I think that what needs to happen is they take Brianna off the endless campaign trail for just one weekend and let her, a successful small business owner, take a crack at the numbers. Her history of doing the weekly figures for Spacekat's books, a major game studio and a major cybersecurity firm with many employees, will make her the ideal candidate (see what I did there?) to settle up these small accounting issues.

She can probably get it done in just an hour or two and then get back onto the campaign trail in California, Washington and the many other other states outside the 8th District of Massachusetts.

That's not really what is happening, the money never leaves the campaign. Just the accounting disappears. Here's what her accounting should look like:

In any case, why would you bother to forgive a zero interest loan? It's useful for taking any surplus value out of the committee at the end of its life.

Well yeah, what's really really happening is that they don't even have a separate bank account for the campaign and all their personal and campaign funds are mingled.

Awaiting my incoming jigsaw puzzle reacts, because this has been gone over a thousand times already, but it just narks me that he's not going to get taken to task over this. It's blatantly dodgy, and I just wish the FEC had the time and resources to clamp down on it. Is it so much to ask for John to face even a teeny tiny bit of comeuppance?
 
Thing is, you can't anonymously report to the FEC. And they'll send the complaint to the campaign.

Most complaints are made by political opponents, who have the financial wherewithal to get a lawyer to whip them into shape. It's irritating to see the FEC just let this bullshit slide time and again, though, when they could make enough money to profit from it by just fining the screaming mongoloid cuck $20K or so every time.

It's literally the only thing she knows about 3D modelling. Probably the contractor who sculpted the one model they made for R60 mentioned it in passing and Wu has been repeating it like an automaton ever since.
