Add me to the list of people curious about Frank’s financial situation... for as much as he makes, he’s got very little liquidity available. I’m sure they could get a mortgage but the down payment would decimate their savings and we’d see it all thanks to those pesky FEC reports!

People in politics- what happens if the FEC decides they are not going to accept Frank’s groveling apology since the reports continue to suck ass and need significant amendments each time? Can they force Brianna out of the race? Is this the long con - take the money but whoops, that mean FEC is misogynistic and won’t let me run! No refunds

They'll likely continue to fine the Wus since they are so small-time. As people who pay attention to Brianna's antics, we can see that he's repeatedly paid for personal trips using campaign funds but it's not like he's defrauding hundreds of thousands of dollars.

As @Norvic and others have postulated, the Wus (in their infinite wisdom) likely didn't bother to open a separate account for the campaign and are trying to parse out campaign finances from their normal monthly statements (which can't be easy considering Brianna's love of spending Frank's money). I think it's too late for them to consider getting a real accountant to help with these filings because any professional would see the myriad of ways Brianna and Frank have fucked themselves and would try to stay away from a situation where they could be seen as an accessory to fraud.

Honestly I don't want to disparage audiobooks because I can see the appeal and I'm not certain of any argument that says that they are any inherently better or worse than "regular" books. This is a lie. Well this is Wu-standard getting basic facts completely fucking wrong, but the story he is trying to parrot is a lie.

The "Russian officer who stopped armageddon" just stopped an issue from escalating up the chain of command because he knew their early alert system was complete shit. If he'd have said "Holy shit we're being nuked we need to respond!" the launch decision needed to go through at least 3 more levels of Russian military command before the Premier would have no/no go'd the strike.
If you actually listen to his story, and not a summary/selected snippets meant to continue to enact the soviet propaganda meant to make people in the West scared of nuclear devices, he says he didn't escalate the warning because
1) There was no news of any political tensions between the two countries.
2) The launch was so small; if the US was launching a surprise attack it would have been bigger.
3) He not only knew their early warning system was shit, but they had a better one, and that one wasn't detecting massive launches.

Basically he didn't make some conscious decision to save the world from nuclear fire - he just didn't want to wake his boss over some bullshit system glitch.

Our current arsenal of Nuclear weapons are from the 80s. For John "Multi-factor" Wu, you think the godzilla of tech feminism would be 100% on board with us updating and upgrading our weapons of peace.

If you want to know who brought the world the closest to nuclear war, you can blame those goddamn fucking warmongering Norwegians.

They have given to charities and causes before, but it's always a paltry amount ($20-30) and usually brought on by Brianna getting wrapped up in some sort of social media story (like the North Carolina GOP office from a couple of years ago). Like most low level donors, Brianna likes to make a show of it to make him feel morally superior to others.

I can't remember if he has one or not, but Frank probably contributes to a charity through an IRA for tax purposes.
