Bryan Singer has been tied to doing shit with teenaged boys no one should be tied to doing, getting naked into hot tubs at parties with them, etc. It doesn't matter if its consensual, they are teenagers and like if they were teen girls, they are not legally able to consent. Period.
These are not isolated rumors. This well known, like Kevin Spacey and Weinstein. Also like Spacey and Wienstein, Singer has enough connections to make the complaints go away quietly: sometimes because the complaint is more about shaking him down, sometimes because his victims care more about helping their career than having their day in court for being raped.

I 888'd about this in other threads, but once you take someone to court for sex stuff, your career is done. Finished. You are done in hollywood, because no one will want to work with you. If you tattle on someone else, your career is also pretty finished.
And unless they have video of Bryan Singer cornholing some twink who is holding a signed & dated "Under penalty of perjury, I attest I do not voluntarily consent to Bryan Singer snatching my bootyhole" statement while the whole thing is being witnessed by a notary and court stenographer, anyone who comes forward in addition to being backballed from hollywood is going to be setting themselves up for a world of legal hurt as various legal teams nail you for defamation, libel, extortion, and unlawful recording.

Singer might not be guilty or otherwise be being shook down in some cases, but there is more than one, and people who don't want to commit career suicide and come forward anonymously tell very similar stories. The cases that go away also paint similar stories before they do.

For the dudes over 18, I guess it depends on how culpable you feel Weinstein is.

Since John is almost always guilty of the moral, ethical, and legal transgressions of which he accuses others, I wonder how many teenage boys he has assaulted during his lifetime of libidinous depravity.

My point is this. You have Hollywood Values and you have USA Values.

What are Hollywood's values in regard to:

1. Drugs.
2 Abortion.
3. Immigration.
4. Sex.
5. The 2nd Amendment.
6. Due process.

Now IMO you have Hollywood Values on one side of the Grand Canyon and you have USA Values on the other.

The only USA Value that Hollywood has suddenly found attractive is that they've weaponised the value of allegations concerning sex and they are smashing the fuck out of due process to use them. I'm really not quite sure where you're going with this.
"All Hollywood types are sexual deviants" and "Brian Singer is a pedophile and deserves special scorn" are not mutually exclusive. If adults, even ones as mentally disabled as your average actor, trade sexual favors for career advancement I don't think that's good, but I also don't think it by default descends to "illegal", at least as it works in Hollywood.
And I dont' really care to have too much say, or for the government or for anyone to have too much say, in what between two to twenty consenting adults, a carpet shampooer, and a bottle of coconut scented lube get up behind closed doors. Singer has been cornholing underaged boys. Roman Polanski needs to be in jail.
