The kotaku articles managed to throw in some snark about the campaign that probably went right over Johns head. There was also another article/interview that cornered Brianna on her stupid plans, how she lost her car and had to take an Uber, and that pointed out GSK only released one game back in 2014

This is maybe the most autistic thing I've ever done but I'm going to try and get the SEO dialed in before the 2020 race really heats up in about 18 months and see if the site can show up ahead of her official one on most commonly used search terms for Wu and MA 8. The fact that it has "Wu, Congress and 2020" all in the URL is a good start I'm hoping.

3 addendum - somebody's fucking jealous at Zoe Quinn for getting the book deal and not the six foot ghoul who couldn't even write coherently for the college newspaper. Certainly not for a lack of will to write a self-congratulatory thesis on why Brianna Wu is a great and deep person like every single article they ever wrote about themselves.

He made it up, but it's a good thing.

First, he doesn't want a fact checker, because everything he says is a complete fucking lie.

Second, the fact checker would probably give up and commit suicide.
 
Like the original comment was how there really are no standards for fact checking books in the industry but the guy was happy he did cause he found he made tons of errors. Typical boring how's your day twitter post.

Brianna has to chime in, "I had a book deal too! But I didn't finish mine because it wouldn't have been fair to the people and due to having such high integrity there's no way I could've worked the "math" to hire the many denizens it would've taken to pick through my stream of conciousness bled out onto the pages that I know they would just salivate over. But alas I am but a humble Wuman just trying to keep the porches and superbikes gassed up like everyone else. Also I didn't write the book for MANY other reasons I won't elaborate on by I assure you it all relates to the patriarchy. Donate to my patr-errr-campaign and let's do this together!"

So are you saying, John, Zoe Quinn paid for fact checkers or got a better deal than you?



Zoe’s book was full of bullshit, so no she didn’t have fact checkers in fact no one hires fact checkers unless they’re writing something about other people. The truth is John never had a book deal because he’s a fucking liar who wouldn’t be able to put out a book with all the lies he’s told on twatter so far.

So, John admits to reneging on a contract. If he actually knew how book contracts work, he would have righteously bragged about returning the advance.

LOL. Don't most publishing houses cover the cost of fact checking, so they don't get sued for libel?

I would imagine that even if Johnny was telling the truth, hiring fact checkers would be a waste of time. There's not enough money in the world to pay someone to sift through all the lies that Wu spits out on a hourly basis. They would kill themselves before reaching the table of contents.

Unless I'm mistaken, the contractor would also be responsible for hiring a fact checker, not John. It's like how if the writer is contracted for a deal, the publisher is the one who pays for the editor or an illustrator for the cover, they don't make the writer take responsibility for that.
