It was more to cover another series of lies he had from around that time. Namely, that he was this hot shot politico on the rise. The head injury keeps you from asking pertinent questions like "who did you work for?", "what did you do in DC?", or "what the fuck are you doing at Ole Miss if you were such a superstar?".

Between the amnesia and adoption lies, John could put distance between his past failures and the new image he wanted to project to others. It's hard not to see his eventual transition to Brianna as just another lie concocted to escape a history of disappointment.

Please clarify, John. Is this a speech your (inverted) stump will give, or one you give to your stump?

I'm assuming the "2020 cycle" is the fresh new motorcycle Frank will be buying you this year because you backed your old one into a bollard. Or "rebuilt" the engine.

Wu's orphan Annie stories make me so furious, because I know she's only lived like one year of her entire life where she wasn't suckling at the teet of some man or other, and even then the extent to which she was paying her own way is a bit dubious.

It's the most awful, cynical bullshit you could imagine from any of the worst class of politician amped up to 11. I'm so desperately longing for the endgame where Wu finally gets called on all this shit in a reputable news publication. It really can't come soon enough.

Since John is an expert in cyber security, software engineering, tech, Infoseek, and leadership why isn’t he offering his time to public schools to educate kids (especially girls) in these areas?

This tale just gets taller each time she tells it. No, Brianna. You did an excellent job of live-blogging and posting on message boards your real story—or as real as any story you tell can be, anyway—and there’s ample proof to back it up.

You got six figure gifts from your parents. You failed to get a college degree over a decade. You were finally disowned at 29, though you sure do love saying you were a disowned child.

You then took your car to Colorado do live with your wealthy aunt, effectively making you “homeless” over a two-day road trip.

Then, you worked at GameStop for like two months before latching onto Frank.

But please. Keep exaggerating. It’ll be hilarious if someone does eventually call you out in a public forum.

Also she never went to a fish fry. She’s hated Catholics for years and said she’d never step into one of their churches. She also likes to bash them with her fake adoption story because they supposedly want $1000 to provide those records.
