Normal people: That's clearly photoshopped.

And some will argue that this man was Casanova so legendary that his conquests was considered a crime against the common decency so they tried to tarnish his reputation and imprison him.

:thoughtful:

Harvey is nowhere NEAR as creepy and rapey as Casanova was. For example, he was both a father and grandfather... to the same kid. And that's not even the worst of it.

But then again he'd probably take one look a Frank and shake his head in disgust.

Yeah and remember the case of that one studio that hired vulnerable female programmers off of Craigslist then fired them after paying them $1 and giving them no credit?

Wu didn't see shit happening with 38 Studios, he read about it on the internet afterwards. If he had to summarize what happened that would be a laugh riot as well.

Let’s see, those people chose to work for Telltale. They chose to relocate and they chose to work in an unstable/volatile industry.

You’re not guaranteed a job anywhere. You should have savings to prepare for such occurrences. The government should not be responsible for paying you nor criminalizing running a shitty business.

You don't deserve them, John, because you abuse them and treat them like disposable toys.

What an extreme-right embarrassment it is to believe in due process and the protecting the rights of the accused. All reasonable believe that the accusation is the same as the crime. Off to Gulag 13 with you, you literal Nazi

Waaaahh I hate different opinions! Only MY opinion is valid. - a massive narcissist

Telltale games were all pretty boring. Being the best at making boring games is exactly the sort of thing Brianna Wu would jump on.

It was less that they were boring and more that your choices never really mattered. I really enjoyed "The Wolf Amoung Us" until I did a second play through and saw the difference choices usually boiled down to 3-4 different lines of dialogue. They were cell-shaded animated CYOA books.
Edit: actually less choice than CYOA, as CYOA books different events and endings. TT games were just movies where you picked what dialogue was said (or sometimes just what order the dialogue came in)

But we've been taught Game Devs are overwhelming evil whites and evil males; shouldn't we be cheering how this is a victory against Groomer Goop now that all these toxic white male gamers are out of jobs?

Actually their work didn't matter to millions of gamers. If it did, they'd still be in business.

Telltale went out of business because they were a one trick pony. A few of their games clicked years ago but their sales since have been atrocious. Walking Dead sold like 4 million copies in 2012. They haven't had a game come close to even cracking 500k sales in 3 years. The last 3 games didn't even sell 100k.

The only reason Telltale is getting attention online is because it was filled with so many people who aren't really skilled in tech but worked for a tech company (their games are just glorified visual novels). Everyone crying on Twitter from that company has a title like "Narrative designer" or "storyteller". I mean it's sad people are losing jobs but the reason it happened is the games flat out sucked and no one wanted to play them anymore.

Poker Night at the Inventory was the only Telltale title I ever played, and even then it was only because of the Team Fortress 2 tie in. Who doesn't want to play a few hands of Texas hold em with Heavy?

Up until that point I had no idea Telltale even existed. And the boring one trick pony game description is spot on. I think I only played Inventory as much as I did because I was one of those early/mid 90's teens that grew up with a PC and no internet, and had quite a bit of nostalgia for playing cards by myself on a desktop.

I strongly doubt Brianna has any friends at TellTale, but this is a lie she feels comfortable telling because it's unlikely to backfire and no one will call her on her bullshit. She's just saying it because it makes her look "connected" and might get a few second-hand asspats for it.

The only TellTale game I've played was their Jurassic Park one and only because I thought it was by the people who made Heavy Rain.

I bet if John took the time to bathe and groom his dogs, he would discover they are all actually the same color of white.
