$60: WaPost is blamed for calling her a troon
You think the odds are really that long? I don't think it's probable that he'll pull this, but it wouldn't surprise me at all. I'd put it down at like 8:1. Slightly less likely than blaming the faceless mobs, but not out of the question.
$5: Brianna reeee's at Lynch on Twitter
This one's a certainty, he'll @RepStephenLynch with sanctimonious "advice" on how he must - MUST!! - behave in his new term. I'm in.
$10: Brianna admits she was wrong in some aspects of her campaign
This one already happened, no bet.

I really don't see how.
In 2014 70K people turned out to vote in the primary election. While you've got to assume Wu will get some zero knowledge votes, she'd still have to get at least 20,000 people turning out to vote specifically for her to have a chance of winning. I really doubt that many people even know who she is in the district.

Lynch is the name brand, and I've got to assume he's got some plans for getting his supporters to turn out and vote for him today.

I don't know, maybe I'm totally wrong and there's such deep seated antipathy towards Lynch that people'll literally vote for anyone who isn't him. I don't see it though.

I really don't see how.
That was referring to the chances of John publicly blaming WaPo for his defeat - I just thought 60:1 was too long.

For John actually winning the whole thing, you'd need some sort of zany "King Ralph" scenario where all the other canidates get struck by lightning and the nomination goes to him by default.

Happened to be in the Dedham area yesterday on Election Eve, so I decided to swing by the Wu-Flynt house for a moment as a little touristy stop. Pretty weird seeing the trannycycle, the Dodge Challenger, the Porsche, and the lone Brianna Wu for Congress sign in person. Seriously, there wasn't a single Brianna Wu sign in Dedham outside of 35 Pratt Ave, but to be fair, there wasn't a single Voehl or Lynch sign either.

But what's that car underneath the tarp behind the (2000) Porsche? Is that the Audi TT or another Porsche or something else?

Their front lights were on in the middle of the afternoon too for some reason. There was no one outside and I stayed in my car, so either their porch lights have a screwy sensor or they're just that lazy.

I expect it's the 100K Porsche. They sold the Audi and maybe the intermediate Porsche too.

Interestingly, the convertible isn't sporting the Wu 2018 stickers seen in the Kotaku article, I guess she just stuck those on there to make a show for the journo.

How much you want to bet Wu will say "GamerGate took the picture of muh car! REEEEEE!"?

How much you want to bet Wu will say "GamerGate took the picture of muh car! REEEEEE!"?

Instead it will be "GAMERGATE is stalking me, still Doxing me, and they went in and messed with the wiring of my car to the point where a mechanic said that either someone purposefully sabotaged it or a complete moron tried to modify it!"

I do--she'd just look like a fool if she brought it up, since the article came out like yesterday and most people in her district probably haven't even read it. Plus if Wu has any shred of intelligence at all, she would not want to broadcast the fact that a reliable newspaper publicly called her a troon.
Possibly she might just blame the media in general. I'd offer much shorter odds for that.

Too bad most of my pictures are shit/are of Frank's Challenger (the campaign car), and I only got 8 of them total since I didn't have all day to play citizen journalist.

Instead it will be "GAMERGATE is stalking me, still Doxing me, and they went in and messed with the wiring of my car to the point where a mechanic said that either someone purposefully sabotaged it or a complete moron tried to modify it!"

I was just the scout, my fellow Goobergrape comrades sabotaged the wiring of the Porsche after I left.

Now we all know that just ain't the case. I'm wondering how he'll fuck up the next time someone outs him like that. Demanding the guy memory hole it in front of everyone seems hard to top, but I know this snarling weirdo will do it somehow.

This is stalking, but public figures do need to be held accountable.

I envision a “tough yet brave” Twitter speech akin to what a dying hero might say in a below average Hollywood film to impart wisdom to all the lesser humans. There will be no admissions or acceptance that she didn’t bother campaigning at all. At the end of the “speech” (Tweet 5 or 6 on the subject), she will remind us that she is the Godzilla of Tech and Feminism, and that she will come back stronger.

Then, like with Rev 60, she’ll say now exhausted she is and that she and Frank are taking a well earned vacation.

Then, the fancy $100k Porsche and the one she’s mutilating in order to fulfill her midlife crisis LARP as a secret agent gal will reappear and become the subject of many brag and humble brag Tweets.

Another piece about Wu that wasn’t about Wu after all: https://www.vox.com/2018/9/4/178000...lizabeth-warren-charlie-baker-ayanna-pressley

Is this the Vox piece she was so joyful about the other day because she’d given extensive political commentary and expected to be heavily featured? If yes, I don’t think this is what she had in mind.

At least the photo accurately displays her efforts at campaigning, sitting in a Porsche with a hastily slapped on sticker whilst never leaving her own driveway.

It's sad when you're so ashamed of your own joke of a campaign that you take off your own bumper sticker, as the alleged candidate, before election day.

Poor John, he has no chance, Russian GamerGaters will hack the election again.

Damn those white cis men :(
