Personally, I don't think it's a coincidence that all these "classic" cars that Brianna keeps mashing the gash to are from around his late high school or early college years. Brianna has no idea what goes into determining a classic car and just slaps the label on any vehicle that he obsessed over back in the John years.

I agree that it's a bizarre article. Feels like the writer went in ready to write a standard Brianna Wu puff piece and then found out the campaign is a colossal joke. She shows up in a Porsche to campaign in South Boston. Has no campaign volunteers to help her. Is relying on an app that she can't figure out how to use. And can't answer basic questions from voters.

On the other hand, she does all the bullshit about how she was run out of her home because of threats. How she started a company at 19 and has developed multiple video games. Just letting those lies flow without any follow-up questions.

Not sure we'll ever know the intention of the article. Was she trying to write a "fish out of water" piece about a new candidate who is learning it's tough to beat the establishment? Or is it just a profile showing her campaign is a complete joke? Leaning toward the latter because the photos of her with the Porsche seem to be a pretty nice dig.

I'm thinking that article was better than we had been giving it credit for being.

We may be disappointed every time a major media outlet doesn't just call John a weird fucking tranny ghoul who you can tell when he gets into town by the crowds of screaming children running away, but the intended audience seems to have got the message that this campaign is a joke.

That guy who says that John is putting the bare minimum into his campaign is because he's just doing this to scam people out of donation money to buy stuff for himself on Amazon and repeatedly fly to the Bay Area might be onto something...

I love whenever John gets national media attention because of how ridiculous his campaign is. The "I'm so quirky and fun and nerdy!" his ads are going for don't even work on millenials, and sure as hell won't work for the average 40+ year old who actually cares enough to vote for a congressman.

I'm 50/50 on this all being a scam to get free donation money from SJWs that he can spend on himself. Then he can sabotage the campaign and run away with the cash before he has to do any major work, while getting to add "politician" to the list of "accomplishments" he can use to justify talking about shit he clearly isn't qualified to talk about in articles, panels, Twitter arguments, etc.

The bare minimum effort, the lack of a substantial campaign platform or any plan to achieve it, the ridiculous ads, the refusal to hire qualified people to his staff, showing up in a Porsche that he had his husband buy for him to talk about income disparity. Throw in some nerd feminism to get donations from his industry pals and SJW's parents for safe measure.

It'd be the perfect crime if John wasn't so batshit and incompetent that he was trying and failing miserably.

She's gotten a bit better by hiring some people lately. But that first year of the campaign just used contributions to buy her and Frank stuff. There was practically no actual spending on campaign items.

I’m sure John/Brianna is going to turn around and attack the evil, cis white men trying to keep down a true and honest woman software engineer game developer.

Edit: Well John sort of jumped in to claim his Porsche was only $8k (ignore the thousands he’s dumped into turning it into some weird comic replica). Also, ignore the $100k brand new Porsche he bought. Oh yeah, ignore the $38k Porsche he had before those two. But yes, John Flynt aka Brianna Wu can relate with your average blue collar worker.

The simple answer is of course no, which winning or losing will not change.

He didn't claim that. He claimed you can get them for $8K, not that he did so himself. Didn't he claim something like $30K?

  • Just wanna remind ya that Wu has brought in 115k in past 18 months. Has done next to nothing to get the money of course its a scam its just not going as well as Wu imagined it would.
