Oh hey,
another article about Wu today. This one is from the Boston Globe.
This is another of those frustrating articles like the one from The Ringer, which is heavily tinged with the implication that this bitch has no idea what she's doing, but can't outright come out and say it. She tooled around Dedham for an hour putting on a dog and pony show for the reporter. It's really disappointing that they either didn't realise that this was an act being put on for their benefit, or if they realised it they didn't have the gumption to say so in print.
After all, Wu admits in the article she has no volunteers. That's not to say people didn't volunteer for the campaign, but Wu was too lazy to actually organise them. What's the purpose of knocking on a few doors? She could hardly be expected to reach more than a thousands voters, only a tiny percentage of whom are going to be persuaded by her message. She needs at least 2oK people to turn out specifically to vote for her.
I'm willing to bet her "malfunctioning app" that was supposed to tell her which doors to knock on was itself a charade. She has no actual plan or database, her whole campaign is just an extended exercise in fakery.
There does appear to be some possibility she's still going to release this video of hers, so there's that. One last amusement before the election. She also repeats the assertion that she's going to be back in 2020, and she's going to hire professional staff once the election is over. I really wonder how long this is going to last and who is going to pay for it. She's burnt so many bridges these past two years, she can't seriously expect anyone to take her seriously again... can she?
