Well, yeah. I take her at her word that she means what she says. If she says "I like beef tacos" I don't assume that she doesn't know the difference between beef and chicken and actually meant she likes chicken tacos...

You're arguing what she said isn't valid because you read her mind and know what she meant. Maybe that's true.

She's admitted in the past that it was okay for her to rape men, I don't see why this is any less valid. Was that a subtle syntax error and she actually meant she regrets it and was sorry but didn't know how to express it? Or she just changed her mind since then?

Also, I'm not the only one who understood what Brianna was saying. Her comments are full of people who also got it.

Her statement makes no sense any other way than I've interpreted it. You're not addressing the context of her flat-out admitting in the past that it was okay when she was raping men. That she believes some rape is okay.

People have came to the same conclusions in the comments on that tweet too, and she hasn't "fixed it." Doesn't seem like an accident to me.

While I think everyone is over analyzing a remarkably sane Wu tweet. One thing to keep in mind is Wu does not feel regret, ever. Wu is not wired that way.

I plan on laughing my balls off while sipping on some fine bourbon. It would be liberal identity politics getting what they deserve. Unfortunately, John is way too much of an unlikable ghoul to get elected and Lynch is a competent politician.

We've been robbed of so much potential content over the course of the Election Eve, Part II Saga. The promised video ad, the promised NYT article/photoshoot, the promised townhall meetings, the promised blogposts... the unfulfilled promises just go on for days

Did we really need a motivational speech from someone whose career is lying? Someone who is constantly attempting things for which she is thoroughly unprepared and failing miserably at them? Someone whose sole achievement in their entire lives is spending ungodly amounts of other peoples' money?

You need to wait your turn. You can't just jump in to something at the highest level because paying your dues is for peons.

Three years, three cars and the brilliant software engineer couldn't get bluetooth working in any of them with any of the expensive car stereos he bought. How much money and time has he spent on that particular quest?
