I do not doubt her insincerity, but I think your entire interpretation hinges on a subtlety of syntax. Brianna is a terrible writer; it is probably not wise to assume she thinks through her sentences carefully, or at least not to any good effect.
Well, yeah. I take her at her word that she means what she says. If she says "I like beef tacos" I don't assume that she doesn't know the difference between beef and chicken and actually meant she likes chicken tacos...
You're arguing what she said isn't valid because you read her mind and know what she meant. Maybe that's true.
She's admitted in the past that it was okay for her to rape men, I don't see why this is any less valid. Was that a subtle syntax error and she actually meant she regrets it and was sorry but didn't know how to express it? Or she just changed her mind since then?
