Nice curtains, Wu. Seriously though that's about one step up from AL's sheets.
For those of you who don't really pay attention, Stephen Lynch has been drastically increasing his national profile lately. I'm something of a news junkie, but I have never ever seen this guy on TV up until about two weeks ago. Since then, he's been on cable news at least twice, and Bill Maher even discussed him briefly and played a clip from him (couldn't find the video, but here's the transcript):

Regardless of what you think about Trump, Lynch has come out of nowhere to be mentioned all of the place lately. A lot of this is due to him being upset about trade tariffs that will hurt his district, but the ultimate point is, I'm starting to hear his name all over the place. In contrast, you know where I hear Brianna Wu's name? This thread, and that's about it.

Edit: I take it back, Chapo Trap House has made fun of Brianna Wu a few times. I think that's the closest she's gotten to a national profile.

Lynch is everything Wu wishes she was and it must really piss her off. Successful private career, long life of (real, meaningful) accolades, a good gig as a congressman and respected by folks on both sides of the aisle. Lynch is IMO pretty much unbeatable in that district unless you unlodge the unions' support for him and good luck with that. The unions are way too smart to endorse some idiot like Wu let alone cast a vote for her. Getting the union heads to switch horses (especially from the incumbent) is some high political art, I've seen it done but it comes usually with years of (teehee) backchanneling.

As noted by many political types on this thread Wu chose a really bad district to try and run in. It's a classic NE working class neighborhood. She'd have had a better shot in some hard left district.

The car posts on her twitter no doubt drive home (teehee) how much she doesn't have in common with her district. I bet Lynch drives a F150.

I pointed out again that recently he is talking like "When I am elected...." so yes, I think he is back to thinking there's no way that As A Software Engineer, The Female Godzilla of Tech wouldn't get elected. It's impossible! Did you see how much taller he is than Lynch?
I like how he keeps trying to liken the democratic congressman of the incredibly liberal state of Massachusetts to Donald Trump. Then again, seems like everyone these days uses Trump as an analogue for something they either really hate or really love.

People are saying millennials are tarded but it feels like every generation from young to old is tarded judging by the political landscape right now.
Guess everyone's secretly tarded and it just took someone like Trump to get everyone to reveal it.

It's yet another aspect where John makes it clear he has no fucking clue what he's doing. He even carpetbagged to pick possibly the worst district in Massachusetts for a guy like him. He hasn't even got the media mojo of openly joke candidates like Vermin Supreme, who usually get favorable coverage.

Well god fucking damn if this doesn't put bread on the table of every voter in District 8 then nothing fucking will

John, normally I would be inclined to instantly dismiss any statement you make that begins with "no lie", but in this case I can quite easily believe that you ploughed $100,000 or more into your stupid fucking car that you don't ever drive. In addition to letting a yelling mongoloid Dwarf plough you in your car accident of a penis, of course.

I swear, every fucking cow on this site uses fiction to support their beliefs like it's a historical anecdote.

If "the rules" are anything but "say what you want because it's a communication platform and we believe in free speech", the rules need to change.

Are you surrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeee you want to go down this route, John? I can think of several ways in common between your tweeting and Alex Jones (in general, I've never looked at his twitter feed)

Lynch is definitely one of the more conservative members of the Massachusetts congressional delegation, but...it's Massachusetts, so 'more conservative' means 'would be screamingly liberal in 45% of the US, and moderate in the rest'. 538 says he votes with Trump 31% of the time. Compare to Democrat darling Kyrsten Sinema at 60%. Just looking at his Facebook...he posted a video of him talking about election security with the caption 'It is time for Republicans in Congress to decide what they stand for. Do they stand for democracy? Or do they stand with Vladimir Putin?'. He said it was a 'historic and important day for Boston' when their new African-American police chief was sworn in, since he's the first ever one. His thoughts on Trump in Helsinki: 'I feel the president’s words and positions taken constitute a physical injury upon the national security of this country.' I could go on. That's not conservative on the national level.

(I would be surprised if he drove a F150, though--can you imagine trying to park one of those in South Boston? Actually, looking at his wife's Facebook, there's a picture taken outside their house with a Volvo parked behind the people in the photo, so that's probably one of theirs, since no driveway.)

You know the saying "All politics are local"? For John, all politics are national. The day after the presidential inauguration, he decided that "Blue Wave backlash against Drumpf" was the country's political direction, and then moved directly to the district of the most conservative Democrat in commuting distance of Frank's job.
On paper it sounds like a half-decent plan, as long as you don't look too hard at those pesky details like what the district is like, who lives there, and what they do for a living.

John also neglected to factor in that he's a supernaturally lazy, remarkably ignorant, mentally ill, prematurely balding, physically repulsive, semi-literate, stumble-tongued, 6-foot-5 transgender abomination who refuses to reveal any details of his childhood, youth, adulthood, education or employment.

Yeah, the slightly smarter choice would've been to move to the 3rd district, since their congresswoman is retiring (actually, at least one person did do that), but that also means there's about ten candidates for the Democratic primary. This isn't like other states where there's districts that voted for Clinton with Republican congressmen--progressive districts in Massachusetts already have progressives in office. Even Ayanna Pressley for the 7th district, who has way more of a shot than Wu, is very unlikely to win, since she's not significantly more lefty than the incumbent.

Only a clown car primary like that would have any chance of giving John some exposure, just because it's a chaotic mess.

honestly it's imo one of the most pathetic campaigns I've seen from someone with a little money and no real job and who is at least superficially charismatic with a story.

you can't play act running for office tho, you gotta actually you know do it, not sperge about foreign cars most people can't afford on twitter all day.

the next gig is totally auto show owner/ mechanic, calling it now.

I don't think Brianna had any idea how much legwork actually went into running for office until she ran. Yeah, she worked for that Trent Lott guy doing fundraising but I don't know if she thought that was "the old way"? Or maybe John wasn't very involved with anything besides telling people to donate maybe holding a sign in a park or something, so he didn't see it?
Whatever it was, I think John thought he literally could just shit post on twitter all day and everyone would see him and then he would get picked up by the local news for a glowing interview which would be syndicated by the national news, running her interview and discussing how they looked into it and if everything Brianna was saying was implemented than everything would be just perfect. Then everybody stood up and clapped.

She found out she was going to actually have to go do all this stuff to secure the votes because for some reason it just wasn't being talked about every day in the national news... Do they even know she hosts Team Rocket Radio or whatever and that's THE MOST IMPORTANT TECH TALK IN HISTORY?? Fuck. It's probably Trump's fault.

So she went to her wheelhouse to solve this problem: she tried to buy it away. She found Warren who needed a job and had the same last name as her upcoming opponent. Warren is crazy too and claimed to be his 5th cousin or whatever, so she hired him on thinking he would just do all the legwork AND have some sort of killer secret on Stephen Lynch that once unleashed would send everyone in a frenzy, and they would all flock to Brianna's campaigns and volunteer. A nationwide movement would then take off and a special election decides that Trump can't be president anymore so they hold an open election. Naturally John is assumed to be the frontrunner based on the media's reports, you could say he won iOS Politican Of The Year award for his efforts. Then he would just slide right in and rule with an iron first.

When That still didn't pan out, she became really frustrated. She started taking all her anger out on @W person cow trying to pin it all on him, so if she lost she had a scapegoat (and has blamed him already publicaly for her upcoming failure, but it seems like she's back to pretending she's going to win) and while he didn't actually have any dirt on Stephen Lynch (and probably sperged out about Stephen Lynch smoking crack out back with this one guy he used to know that ate babie), he did have some political connections and put in a ton of work for her campaign.

She thought she could get volunteers, it was warming up outside maybe that was the problem, so she hit it hard calling for volunteers and again having an opinion on everything. She kinda stopped going to any events at all by this point, for sure she believed that her minion would just take care of that and she would man the twitter cannon which would shoot her straight to the top. Well, she didn't get any volunteers and lost a net number of followers through bans and bot removals.

She kind of recently figured out that she's not going to win, it doesn't work like she thinks it does, she wasn't able to "take over the twittersphere" nor get national media coverage other than a side mention on "new candidates" less than a handful of times. She's gone through, what, 3 or 4 'campaign managers / bitches'.
So she's playing with her new car, buying other things, drifting away from the campaign so that when she loses it won't completely wipe out her image as a winner. Remember, she sees herself as a major winner. She stood against the alt-right and won, after all. She beat gamergate. The person. And Jace.

It's been an interesting change though I feel like these past few days, and maybe it's just more going on available to sperg about, but she's been pretending like she's going to win again. We may see another "push phase" in the Wu playbook. Maybe she figured out a way to hire a couple professionals to actually run her campaign. Too bad (and that's just a guess off the top of my head) if that happened she wouldn't let them do their thing, she would tell them how they are supposed to do it because SHE's the expert. And they will quit like all the rest.

It's been quite a ride, I'm almost upset that it's coming to an end here soon. She hasn't latched onto anything else big, I'm worried there could be a Dark Age Of Wu... literal hours to days where there isn't a stream of dishonesty and hubris flowing from that ghoulish body. (:_(

Comparing someone to Trump is the new comparing someone to Hitler, even by rational, well adjusted adults and I'm starting to unironically hate normies because of it and I need one of you to put me down before I fully transform and start using /r9k/.

I like the rest of your post, but this is
:optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic:.

I qualified it with "literal hours to days" -- it could be as short as 20 hours. Maybe she loses, so she snorts a bunch of ambian, spergs out on twitter about how it's all Warren's fault and gamergate and the trolls and whatever, and then overdoses / falls asleep for 20 hours.

I'm not :optimistic::optimistic: to the point of pretending she's going to hide in a cave or something. Maybe she will "have to flee her home" all the way to her living room again because of all the "death threats" she is going to receive following her loss...

I'm actually just really surprised she hasn't announced her next big thing yet. Maybe she's planning a collaboration with Zoe "Dame Judy Stench" Quinn on her "Goddess Mode" project, or maybe she will hop on that kickstarer project "five guys means two of you use my eyes" Quinn robbed a bunch of suckers on and hasn't even commented in 217 days. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/703752115/kickstarted-in-the-butt-a-chuck-tingle-digital-adv/

2,450 backers pledged $85,448 to help bring this project to life.

For christ's sake!!! That's an average of $35 per person from almost 2500 fucking morons! I guess "Depression Quest" was such a fucking awesome game you knew that she would make a winner with this one, huh??

Lol I fucking forgot about Zoe Quinn's Chuck Tingle Kickstarter! I was a little pissed at first because, while I didn't read them, the concepts of Chuck Tingle's novels were pretty funny.
I was surprised he'd team up with Zoe, but then I heard rumors that Chuck is actually one of Zoe's SJW pals.

The fact that everyone involved (even Jim Sterling who I honestly used to respect) are ignoring all questions the backers have is amazing. Like, I knew it would be at the very most a shitty FMV dating game, but I didn't expect Zoe to actually just run away with the cash.

At the very least Chuck is still pumping out new stories, so good on him.

Enough of that manipulative, compulsively lying, sociopathic feminist and the cucks that support and enable her, let's get back to talking about THIS manipulative, compulsively lying, sociopathic feminist and the cucks that support and enable him.

She'll claim she fought Stephen Lynch and won, much like she claims she won against "Gamergate" by never leaving her home, shitting herself, and doing nothing.

I've been thinking that he will claim that through his campaign he "brought important issues to the forefront" and forced the governments hand on improving cyber-security and such, so even though he wasn't elected his policies were and therefore he actually achieved a greater victory and is now a blue force-ghost.

edit: oh yeah, he'd probably claim that it was the plan all along.
